Winnipeg beauty lovers have lots to celebrate right now: Sephora Canada just announced the launch of their 100th store location with the opening of Sephora Crossroads Station Shopping Centre, which will take place on November 18. To further mark the milestone event, the beauty retailer is celebrating with special events and promotions in Winnipeg (and across Canada) — as well as with a major donation to Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC).

How much will be donated to Native Women’s Association of Canada?

As they celebrate their 100th store opening, Sephora Canada will donate $100,000 to NWAC, which is a National Indigenous Organization that represents “the political voice of Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people in Canada, inclusive of First Nations on and off reserve, status and non-status.”

The beauty retailer is making the donation as an extension of their ongoing partnership with the organization. Last fall, for example, they worked with NWAC to conduct a National Roundtable on Indigenous Beauty. The findings from the roundtable were then published this summer in the Report of the National Roundtable on Indigenous Beauty.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our brick-and-mortar presence in Manitoba with the opening of Sephora Crossroads Station Shopping Centre, and to be celebrating this momentous 100th store milestone,” Thomas Haupt, the newly appointed General Manager of Sephora Canada, said in a news release. “This opening is also an important occasion for us to celebrate with our clients in Canada, and to show gratitude to communities at large — they are the beating heart of our business and we are proud to serve them.”

What promotions will be available to celebrate Sephora Canada’s 100th store?

In addition to their donation, Sephora Canada will celebrate the new Winnipeg store opening with special client events and promotions at select stores across Canada. These events include an opening party for clients at Sephora Crossroads Station Shopping Centre from 7:00PM to 9:00PM CDT, as well as special in-store activations and surprises on November 18 at the following Canadian flagship store locations: Sephora Toronto Eaton Centre (Toronto, Ontario), Sephora Ste. Catherine (Montreal, Quebec) and Sephora Robson (Vancouver, BC). You can learn more about in-store events by contacting these store locations.

Also, on November 18, Sephora Canada will also give the first 100 clients who spend $100 or more a $50 gift card, at each of its 100 store locations nationwide.
