Kylie Jenner’s new swim line is drowning in criticism. The reality star and Kylie Cosmetics founder is coming under fire from fans who spent money on the pricey pieces from her Kylie Swim collection, only to receive cheap, ill-fitting swimwear.
Kylie Swim launched on Sept. 17, and fans almost immediately started leaving scathing reviews on social media. Many had shelled out upwards of $85 for pieces from the line, only to be met with disappointment. Some made jokes on Twitter about the poor quality:
It baffles me how people like Kylie can literally have a bajillion dollars for a business and the products still be lackluster. It has me thinking is she truly hands on or just starting things for fun? Idek. Also I thought releasing kylie swim in the fall is odd.

Others even joked that they were so poorly made that it looked like the work of Jenner’s three-year-old daughter, Stormi:
Stormi really did the best she could with these new swimsuits by Kylie cuz…..#kylieswim pic.twitter.com/q7bismeA2D

The drama first began on TikTok, when customers started posting videos of the line that revealed see-through fabric, way-too-tiny sizes, and more. Then review after review poured in, and an overwhelming amount were negative.

“I would show you these on but I literally can’t because they are just not it,” user @kindredl said. “I wasn’t expecting the material to be so thin that it just shows everything.” She then holds up her one-piece bathing suit to show the poor seams.

This isn’t the first time Jenner has been called out for releasing poorly made products, as she faced similar criticisms about quality when she initially launched her lip kits in 2015.
Hopefully, the mogul is able to turn things around before the brand takes too much of a hit from angry fans.
