The designer and former Spice Girl wrote a letter to her 18-year-old self in the January 2017 issue of British Vogue, in which she talked about her insecurities, fashion, and meeting David. But she also admitted that getting breast implants were a bad idea.
"And I should probably say, don't mess with your boobs," she advised. "All those years I denied it – stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you've got." Hear, hear!

Kim Kardashian West
The reality star's Botox injections were well-documented on her show back in 2010. KK addressed the episode on her blog, writing, "On the show you saw I had some bruising around my eyes after the procedure, which is totally natural, but because I hadn't looked into the side effects, I freaked out ... Botox just wasn't necessary for me at this age."

While Kidman makes clear she's never had plastic surgery, she has had work done, telling Italian newspaper La Repubblica, "I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again." Always a good thing.

Cameron Diaz
Similar to Kidman, Diaz tried Botox but says she won't be doing it again. "I've tried [Botox] before, where it was like a little tiny touch of something," the actress/author told ET Online. "It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to be like that.' I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."

Courteney Cox
The actress has been around for decades, so it's only natural that her looks were going to change. But the way it changed wasn't so natural — and Cox regrets that.
"Sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go, 'Oh God, I look horrible,'" she told Bear Grylls in an episode of his show, Running Wild. "Getting older, I don't think that's the easiest thing ... I have done things that I regret and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that's good because it's not always been my best look."

Goop is open to anything — except Botox. "I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I'm 50," she said in a 2013 interview with Harper's Bazaar. "I'll try anything. Except I won't do Botox again, because I looked crazy, I looked like Joan Rivers!"

Joan Rivers
Going under the knife was never a secret when it comes to the late comedian, and while her facelift, nose job, breast reduction, chin tucks, Botox, collagen and getting her eyes done were hunky-dory, it was the lipo she regretted.
"I didn't check out the doctor and the result wasn't smooth," Rivers admitted.

Jamie Lee Curtis
The actress tells it like it is Before embracing her natural beauty, Jamie Lee Curtis experimented. "I've done it all. I've had a little plastic surgery. I've had a little lipo. I've had a little Botox. And you know what? None of it works. None of it."
She continued to the Mirror: "I think there's a point where you become a caricature of yourself," adding that she believes she "looked worse."

Kylie Jenner
She may have denied getting any work done — but guess lip injections don't count? Whatever the case, she has some regrets.
"I definitely made my lips a little too big at one point," Kylie told Allure. "I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot. And then [my sisters] were like, 'Kylie, you need to chill.' And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process."

Melanie Griffith
The actress didn't realize how addicted she became to going under the knife "until people started saying, 'Oh my God, what has she done?'" she told Porter magazine. "I was so hurt ... I went to a different doctor, and he started dissolving all of this stuff that this other [doctor] had put in. Hopefully, I look more normal now."

If the actress could turn back time, she would go back and undo the Botox injection that hit a nerve, not only causing a large bruise but also affecting the muscle under her right eye.

Cher
Speaking of turning back time, Cher told People mag that her breast augmentation was "a nightmare," adding, "They were really botched in every way. If anything, they were worse after than before." Clearly not what she wanted.

Jennifer Grey
The Dirty Dancing star had such a distinctive face, but when she got rhinoplasty it changed everything for her.
"I went in the operating theatre a celebrity — and came out anonymous," she told the Mirror. "It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible. I'll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognizes ... because of a nose job."

Jane Fonda
"I'm not proud of the fact that I've had it. But I grew up so defined by my looks," she told W magazine last year about having plastic surgery. "I was taught to think that if I wanted to be loved, I had to be thin and pretty. That leads to a lot of trouble."

Tori Spelling
Spelling told Good Morning America in July 2011 that her biggest regret was getting breast implants when she was younger. "I got my boobs done in my early 20s, and if I had known it would or could possibly impact production of [breast] milk, I would never have had them done."

Khloe Kardashian
While some procedures work, others don't — at least for True's mom.
"I don't know if it's Botox or filler, [but] I did one of them and my whole face went numb and I could not make [an expression]," Kardashian said during an episode of Kocktails With Khloe. " I had to dissolve everything ... I looked crazy and I still think the effects are like, in there."
She added: "And my face was so f*cked, I had to go and get this whole thing, like, dissolved. It was a bummer because now I'm afraid to do it again, but I swear, I think things are still in my face."

Tara Reid
The American Pie and Sharknado star got breast implants in 2004, but it affected other parts of her body. "My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing," she told Us Weekly. "I had a hernia, this huge bump next to my belly button. As a result, I couldn't wear a bikini. I lost a lot of work."
She added that it was "probably the stupidest thing I ever did," so much so she had the procedure reversed two years after the fact.

Melissa Gilbert
Two breast augmentations left the Little House on the Prairie alum unhappy, and she wrote in a December 2014 blog post that she was getting her implants removed. "I am concerned for my health," she wrote. "I don't like the way they look or feel. Frankly, I'd like to be able to take a Zumba class without the fear that I'll end up with two black eyes."

Carmen Electra
The actress confessed to Fabulous magazine that her boob job was a mistake. "I had breast surgery over 10 years ago, taking me from a 32B to DD, which took a bit of time to get used to. I didn't want to go as big as that. It's nice that I don’t have to wear a push-up bra any more, but I could have left myself alone. I think I was fine the way I was." Live and learn.

Heidi Montag
The reality star, who made headlines after having all kinds of plastic surgeries and procedures in rapid succession, decided she was done once the newfound glee from her new look lasted mere months.
"Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did pre-surgery. This is not what I signed up for," Montag told Life & Style about the scars and marks from her surgeries. " I definitely think I should have been way more informed. I think that doctors should really walk you through all aspects of it, not just the glamorous side of it. I would love to not be 'plastic girl' or whatever they call me. Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world. I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back."

Jessica Simpson
Not only did 2006 mark the end of her marriage to Nick Lachey, but it was also when she realized she was done with lip injections. "I had that Restylane stuff," J-Simp told Glamour magazine. "It went away in, like, four months ... Thank God. They looked fake to me. I didn't like that."

Lisa Rinna
The Real Housewife and former Melrose Place star admitted to having injections of Juvederm in both her cheeks and lips. "When you change your face, you don't look like yourself," Rinna told Momlogic.com. "Looking fresher is one thing. I look like a freak! I always said I wouldn't change my face, but I did it." She underwent a lip reduction in 2010 to remove the hardening silicone and scar tissue from her initial procedure, which required 42 corrective stitches in her lip. Ouch. If that's not a lesson learned, we don't know what is.

Kenny Rogers
The country legend has admitted to getting multiple cosmetic procedures but it's the eyes that have it. Or don't, we should say. "I kind of wish I hadn't done it," said Rogers. "Looking back at some pictures of myself, my eyes were a lot warmer than they are now, and I miss that."
But he's learned to live with it all. "As you go through life, you make choices. Some are good, some are bad."

Pamela Anderson
Her Barbie doll figure and looks helped her career but she eventually had her infamous implants removed. At the time, she explained, "I just wanted my body to return to its original state." But in 2004, she still wasn't happy and had her breasts re-augmented again, but to a more manageable size.

Priscilla Presley
Presley wanted to tighten her face with injections, but her "doctor" claimed to have something better than Botox. Turns out, though, it was actually a low-grade silicone he smuggled illegally from Argentina.
She was left with lumps in her lips and face, though she got off lucky compared to some of his other patients who complained of paralysis and holes in their skin. The worst part? He wasn't even a licensed doctor! He went to jail in 2006 after pleading guilty to conspiracy, smuggling and use of unapproved drugs.

Kathy Griffin
The comedian wrote in her memoir that published photos of her botched liposuction were akin to "a CSI crime-scene photo." But she calls those pics a public service, to show women what lipo "really looks like." Griffin also added that the nose job she got when she was 26 did nothing to help her career.

Reid Ewing
The young actor opened up about his battle with body dysmorphia, which has resulted in several surgical procedures. The first of many procedures he got was cheek implants, but he was horrified by the results.
“After all the swelling finally went down, the results were horrendous," he wrote in The Huffington Post. "I vowed I would never get cosmetic surgery again even though I was still deeply insecure about my looks. It took me about six months before I was comfortable with people even looking at me. I wish I could go back and undo all the surgeries."

Yolanda Hadid
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cameras captured the moment the former model had her breast implants removed, which she had done after discovering silicone was "free-floating" around her body after a severe rupture. But Yolanda couldn't be happier with her decision, insisting it was all worth it if it gave her a chance to "go back to living some sort of a normal life." She added: "These boobies never defined who I am as a woman." Hear hear!
