What The Real Housewives Have Been Doing in Quarantine

Our favourite The Real Housewives stars have spent the last few months in quarantine cooking more, spending time with family and embarrassing themselves on TikTok. Bravolebrities — they’re just like the rest of us. Well, almost.

Most of The Real Housewives of New York City women fled the Big Apple, preferring to ride out lockdown at to their various properties along the Eastern Seaboard. Dorinda has been spending time at her restored Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires, Luann and Leah have been hiding out in the Hamptons and Ramona has been in Florida with her daughter Avery and ex-husband Mario.

Over on the West Coast, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have mostly stayed put in their manses around the LA area. With all that California sun and space, why bother going anywhere else? From Teddi with her new baby Dove to Garcelle taking her twin boys out marching for racial justice to Dorit appearing on an Australian game show, they have hardly slowed down in lockdown.

Garcelle Beauvais: protesting for Black Lives Matter

Garcelle Beauvais has already shown she is not afraid to speak her mind on RHOBH and now she is raising her voice for Black Lives Matter. The actress has taken to the streets with her twin boys during quarantine, posting a video of them peacefully protesting and marching in Los Angeles on Instagram. She has also been recording new confessionals from home and we cannot wait to hear what she has to say about all the Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville drama later this season.

Ramona Singer: in Florida with Avery and Mario

RHONY OG Ramona Singer has been in quarantine in Florida with her daughter Avery and ex-husband Mario Singer. Prior to lockdown, the Manhattan businesswoman had been stuck in Aspen with Lyme disease. Avery suggested warm Florida would be preferable to the Hamptons in March, so the pair shacked up with Mario for 10 weeks before moving into their own apartment in May — doubtlessly so Ramona could get back to dating.

Dorit Kemsley: have you been paying attention?

Besides hanging out with her adorable tots Jagger and Phoenix, and strategizing her restaurant empire (Lisa Vander-who?), Dorit Kemsley made the time during quarantine to be a guest presenter on Australian gameshow Have You Been Paying Attention? Given their recent Twitter spats, we suspect her RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards was certainly not paying attention to this one.

Sonja Morgan: detoxing in Palm Springs

Sonja Morgan has already been hitting the rosé all day on this season of RHONY. Just before quarantine began, she swapped the Upper East Side for Palm Springs, California, where she has been detoxing in the desert since. She wrote on Instagram, “Working on being my best self. Reeling it in after going off the rails last season. Sometimes I come into a season HOT and sometimes not. This one definitely came in hot.”

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave: new baby Dove

Accountability coach Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has been spending quarantine with her new daughter Dove alongside her husband Edwin Arroyave, son Cruz and daughter Slate. Born on February 25, 2020, Dove was not a minute late — of course. Teddi gave herself a mommy makeover, writing on Instagram, “After having a baby, I always do something drastic with my hair. This time, I thought pink!”

Tinsley Mortimer: in Chicago with Scott

After much speculation (read: bullying) from co-star Dorinda Medley about her dating situation this season, Tinsley Mortimer finally admitted that she and on-again-off-again boyfriend Scott Kluth were officially back together. Having since moved to Chicago, she has been quarantining with her now-fiancé and their dogs Strawberry and Shortcake. It seems, despite lockdown, Tinsley’s life is still a fairytale.

Sutton Stracke: daughter Porter’s graduation

RHOBH friend Sutton Stracke celebrated her daughter Porter’s high school graduation in quarantine, complete with a very on-trend flower crown in lieu of the more traditional cap. Marymount High School did a drive-thru ceremony, so this proud Beverly Hills mama was still able to have her moment — and even got an Instagram video out of it. Congratulations, Porter!

Leah McSweeney: impersonating Housewives on TikTok

RHONY newbie Leah McSweeney has taken to TikTok, where she has been doing lip syncs of iconic The Real Housewives moments from across the franchise. Among them are psychic Alison DuBois from RHOBH’s infamous season one 'Dinner Party From Hell,' as well as RHONJ’s Margaret Joseph’s legendary line “Your husband’s in the pool” — shot and recorded by her daughter Kiki, while in lockdown with her ex Rob Cristofaro in the Hamptons. No tiki torches were harmed.

Lisa Rinna: becoming a Drag Race queen

Besides posting her iconic at-home dance videos on Instagram, Lisa Rinna also entered into the RuPaul’s Drag Race canon during lockdown. Canadian queen Jackie Cox had impersonated the RHOBH star during season 12’s highly anticipated Snatch Game challenge. To show her gratitude, Lisa recorded a video at home with her husband Harry Hamlin, which was featured during the Drag Race reunion and can be seen on her Instagram.

Dorinda Medley: starting an OnlyFans account

Besides spending time with her mother and daughter Hannah at the freshly restored Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires, Dorinda Medley also started an OnlyFans account. The subscription platform was brought into the mainstream zeitgeist by Beyonce in a verse on her remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage”, though it has long been popular for NSFW gay content. We’re not sure what Dorinda has posted, but you can find out for $4.99 a month.
