Forbes Magazine has released their Top 10 list of the world’s highest paid actors for 2014. The magazine sifted through estimated earnings over a 12 month period ending this past June. The numbers come from ‘insiders’ like producers and agents and are based on entertainment-related income. All figures are in US dollars.

10. Mark Wahlberg
In 10th spot is Mark Wahlberg with estimated earnings of $32 million. Forbes reports that the actor is still raking it in from the movie 'Ted'. In addition to drawing a paycheque for his acting work, Wahlberg makes a sizable amount of cash from being a television producer on the side.

9. Will Smith
With estimated earnings of $32 million, Will Smith remains in the Top 10 for 2014. Even when his movies do poorly, he still does very well.

8. Christian Bale
According to Forbes, the former-Batman star is the 8th highest paid actor with earnings of $35 million. His next big role will be as Moses in Ridley Scott's upcoming 'Exodus'.

7. Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck is in 7th place with earnings of $35 million. Affleck is the new Batman, which should guarantee a pretty decent income stream over the next few years.

6. Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson is 6th place on the Forbes list with estimated earnings of $36 million. Neeson has a number of films in the works, so he needn't worry about money too much.

5. Chris Hemsworth
Cracking the Top 5 is Chris Hemsworth. With earnings of $37 million, the 'Thor' star is doing quite well. And it looks like his earnings will increase thanks to inking deals to star in a number of upcoming flicks.

4. Leonardo DiCaprio
In 4th spot with estimated earnings of $39 million, is Leonardo DiCaprio. According to Forbes, he made a killing off the backend of 'The Wolf of Wall Street' – even though he took a bit of a cut in his acting fee. Earnings from 'The Great Gatsby' also helped improve DiCaprio's bottom line.

3. Bradley Cooper
Coming in at 3rd place is Bradley Cooper. Thanks to 'American Hustle' and the 'Hangover' films, Cooper made an estimated $46 million last year.

2. Dwayne Johnson (The Rock)
Dwayne Johnson, better known as The Rock, is #2 on the list. According to Forbes, The Rock is a true movie star. He's also a rich one, bringing in $52 million last year. In addition to his movie work, he's getting into television including the upcoming HBO comedy 'Ballers'.

1. Robert Downey, Jr.
With estimated earnings of a whopping $75 million, Robert Downey Jr. takes top spot on the Forbes list of highest paid actors. Playing Iron Man has made the actor Mr. Money Bags. Marvel Studios is so happy with the returns they get from Downey Jr.'s films that they don't mind rewarding him handsomely.
