See what’s happened in the lives of former Real Housewives since they’ve left the franchise

Lydia McLaughlin
She's back! After making an impression as a bright eyed, optimistic and very religious Housewife on season eight of RHOC, Lydia returned for season 12. Since her first stint on the shows, she’s written a book about the experience, Beyond Orange County: A Housewives Guide to Faith & Happiness. Unsurprisingly, the book is informed by her faith and aims to help readers “live out boldly the unique calling God has for each of us.” Her and her husband also had a third baby and launched a new magazine, Noble Man.

Jill Zarin
Jill was an original RHONY cast member and became a fan favourite during her four seasons on the show. Since then, she’s been busy as one of several Housewives with a line of shapewear and a Kosher food brand. And despite not being on the Real Housewives, she’s stayed in front of the camera, making an appearance with her daughter on Millionaire Matchmaker and acting in a horror movie with Kelly Rutherford.

Camille Grammer
Camille is one of the best-loved Housewives in the franchise’s history. Since stepping down as a Housewife, she’s turned her battle with cancer into a position as National Chair of the Foundation for Women's Cancer. She’s also been through another tumultuous relationship and had to file a restraining order against the man she dated after Kelsey Grammer. We always have our fingers crossed Camille will return to RHOBH – and so do the other Housewives. At the most recent reunion, almost all the current cast members said they’d like to see Camille return to the show.

Alex McCord
Alex and her husband Simon were the original villains of RHONY. During season one they came off as thirsty social climbers and failed to get much more likable as their stint on the show progressed. Since getting the ax, they moved on to Couples Therapy on VH1 before moving to Australia, where Simon is originally from.

Gretchen Rossi
Gretchen and Slade were close behind Alex and Simon as the Housewives’ most hated couple. The two have stayed together since they parted ways with RHOC, but still don’t seem any closer to the marriage they’ve been promising since Gretchen proposed to Slade on camera. As for Gretchen’s career, she’s been hawking her clothing collection through daily Instagram fashion posts.

Kelly Bensimon
We got a throwback to the old Bethenny vs. Kelly feud on this season of RHONY. Since we last saw her, she’s launched a fashion blog, KKBLoves.com, her own fragrance and candle line and written another book, The Three Day Supermodel Diet. As for a potential return, it sounds like she’s open to being a Housewife again, if the show will have her.

Shereè Whitfield
Shereè’s been plagued with money troubles since her time as a Real Housewife. First she was sued by her own lawyers after allegedly failing to pay her own bill, then it was reported she owes $287,707.86 to the IRS in unpaid taxes.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Kim turned her Housewives fame into a series of successful spinoffs, like Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding and has now patched up her famed feud with fellow RHOA Housewife Nene Leakes, who stars with her in a new reality series, Nene and Kim: Road To Riches, which is set to air this fall.

Danielle Staub
We hadn’t heard much from Danielle since her feud with nearly every cast member of RHONJ during her two drama-filled seasons on the show. That is, until Teresa went to prison and Danielle went on camera again to offer her support. And, of course, there have been near-constant rumours that she’ll return to the show – most recently that she’s been cozying up to new cast members in hopes they’ll film with her.

11 / 13
Taylor Armstrong
Taylor’s Housewives final season on RHOBH was dark, given her husband Russell’s suicide. Things have gotten weirder since then, as she got together with the lawyer who was helping clean up the legal mess Russell left her in. She also had a sit down with Oprah to talk about the suicide and appeared on Couples Therapy with her new husband, John.

12 / 13
Lea Black
Lea was one of the most captivating and popular Miami Housewives. The show is no longer on the air, but Lea’s held tight to her place in Miami society. She’s also clung on to the fame, writing the first in a series of three novels that are no doubt inspired by her own experiences, Red Carpets and White Lies.

13 / 13
Joanna Krupa
Joanna may no longer be a Real Housewife, but that hasn’t kept her out of the Housewives drama. Since RHOM stopped filming, she’s been feuding with Brandi Glanville, calling her “trailer trash.” Brandi retaliated with a crude comment about Joanna, who then turned around and sued her for defamation.
