Stuck in a pixie cut rut? Take a cue (or 15) from Jennifer Lawrence — she’s been able to prove just how versatile a pixie can be in a matter of months.

The debut
When Jennifer Lawrence first chopped off her locks, we have to admit, we weren't the first ones cheering. But since the initial shock has worn off, we've watched JLaw tease and twist her shorter hair into more hairstyles than we ever thought possible. Take a look at some of our favourites.

Voluminous and parted
Since all eyes are on JLaw, we love that she chose to show off her fiery gaze by keeping her hair out of her face. She sizzled on the red carpet thanks to this deep side part and pumped up look for the Catching Fire premiere in London.

Straight and smooth
The shiniest, straightest crop cut we ever did see. (Also, note the blinged-out ear cuff. Another quick way to take a short cut to the next level.)

Casual and windblown
She #justwokeuplikethis. If you don't want a pixie yet, keep clicking.

Wild and free
JLaw's pixie took a nosedive into punk terriroty with this ultra-styled look. Her strands were bent up and into place for a fun and quirky 'do (and we can only imagine how much hairspray was used to make it stay!).

Waves that wow
Katniss dressed to the nines and busted out this gorgeous, wavy style for the 2014 Oscars.

Subtle height
Our girl went glam by keeping her locks fluffy on top but contoured around her face. A+.

Teased and slicked back
This teased and pushed back style had us wondering if there was anything her pretty pixie couldn't do.

Perfectly messy
I want my hair tousled just enough that it looks completely unintentional, said everyone, ever.

Flippin’ fabulous
JLaw brought a little 60s vibe to a New York premiere with the help of a few flipped out strands on either side of her face.

Texture on top
A little texture on the top takes her pixie from day to night.

Shiny as ever
She shined (in more ways than one) at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. Though her locks were styled to perfection, swooping to the right of her face and out of her eyes, they managed to look soft and natural.

Asymmetrical and edgy
This tousled, piecy hairstyle with an asymmetrical shape is as fun as JLaw herself.

Cool and crimped
She looked cool-as-can-be with subtle waves for AFI FEST in Hollywood.

Total texture
At the 2014 SAG Awards, JLaw turned heads with her textured tresses. They were the perfect mix of casually roughed up and strategically edgy.
