Tamra recently took to social media to share some scary news with fans — she has melanoma. The 49-year-old RHOC star broke the news on Instagram and revealed that was looking to compete in another bodybuilding competition in November, but has been forced to put those plans on hold.
Sharing a booty-baring photo on Instagram, Tamra highlighted the spot on her backside that led to this cancer discovery. Tamra wrote, “I work out 🏋 hard for this Booty. I was planning on competing again in November at 50 years old, but I’m not sure that’s happening 😩 now. it looks like God has a different plan for me. Im showing you this picture because this is what melanoma looks like.” Tamra is keeping positive though, letting fans know that she “caught it early.”
Earlier this year in January, Tamra shared some photos of her in the doctor’s office where she had a few spots removed. It seems another discovery has been made since then.

Tamra is now urging fans to get their skin checked regularly, because what she thought was just a small black freckle, turned out to be melanoma.
