Proving that the best trends of the ‘90s — and the underlying spirit of the “girl power” movement of the era — really are eternal, designer and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, 48, channelled her Posh persona for an epic karaoke performance.

While enjoying some karaoke on a family vacation, according to People, Beckham (whose Spice Girls’ nickname is “Posh Spice”) chose the classic song “Stop,” which was made famous by her own group in 1997.

The moment was captured on camera by the designer’s husband, David Beckham, 47, who posted the video with the caption: “Karaoke night with the one & only Posh Spice.” (You can watch Beckham’s performance via David Beckham’s Instagram on Page Six, here.)

Though some fans of the Spice Girls may feel bittersweet emotions watching her perform the group’s song as a solo Spice (indeed: Page Six notes that the karaoke performance sparked an outcry from fans hoping for a Spice Girls reunion tour), others may find solace in the nostalgia of seeing Victoria Beckham break out some of the song’s signature choreographed dance moves while the music video played in the background behind her.

At the very least, Beckham’s vacation karaoke moment serves as a timely reminder to us all to make the time to rest and relax during the stress of day-to-day life.

As the Spice Girls told us, sometimes, we’ve “gotta slow it down, baby, gotta have some fun.”
