Over the years, Selena Gomez has expanded her body artwork with a series of artsy and dainty tattoos. Now, the Only Murders in the Building star has what might just be her boldest piece of ink yet: a rather large back tattoo.
Popular tattoo artist Bang Bang, who has inked a ton of celebs over the years, from Miley Cyrus to Rihanna, posted an Instagram pic of Gomez showing off her new tatt.

The shot isn’t a close-up, so fans aren’t entirely certain as to what it is, or what it represents for Gomez. However, it’s definitely one of the largest pieces she has to date, so we’re all curious to find out what it could be. Until Gomez herself posts a pic on her IG of the piece, people are left to wonder.
Her fans began asking questions in the comments section of the post, with one writing: “Is this for her upcoming project or album? Is this permanent?”
Another wrote: “[We] need a close up!! [I] need to see the artwork in detail.”
With this new piece, Gomez now has around 16 tattoos in total. She last visited Bang Bang earlier this year in April to get a tiny cross tattooed across her collarbone.
We can’t wait to see what her mysterious piece is, but if it’s anything like any of her other tatts, it will probably be something that’s equal parts meaningful and stunning.
