While the singer has said many times over the past four years that new music is coming, fans have been desperately searching for signs that her ninth album is officially on the way. This week, they became convinced that it’s happening due to the latest clue – a cute pair of shoes.

Rihanna posted this glam fit pic on her Instagram to show off her latest Fenty product, a whipped body oil from her skincare line. While her luminous skin quickly stole the show, fans also spotted her pretty summer heels. They noticed that another famous musician recently posed in the same pair of Bottega Veneta pumps: none other than rapper Nicki Minaj.

A few days prior, Minaj announced she was finally releasing new music on Friday, which sent the Barbz into a tailspin. They pointed out that the two musicians hadn’t been following each other on Insta and only re-followed one another just a few days earlier, causing many to cross their fingers that a collab from the two icons could be the song that Minaj drops tomorrow.
The sleuths took to Twitter to showcase their evidence. Many are confident the singers are sending signals via their footwear:

It could simply be that the two celebs share a love of sleek sandals, but fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see if their conspiracy comes true. In the meantime, they have a chance to try out the body cream oil, or cop the mesh heels for themselves.
