The Atlanta ladies will make a return to our screens May 1 after a cast shake-up that left fans wondering how season 14 will play out. Longtime cast members Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams left the cast, making room for Marlo Hampton, Shereé Whitfield’s comeback and new face Sanya Richard-Ross. Season 14’s cast feels completely new, but may be the refresh the series needed. Here’s what to expect this season.
It’s no surprise that Kandi Burruss continues to go after her career aspirations, unexpectedly inspiring her son Ace to follow in her footsteps. Also unsurprising, Todd and Mama Joyce will go at it around financial issues concerning estate plans and the family’s future.

Hot off of her trip to Turks & Caicos, Kenya Moore returns to her daughter Brooklyn and focuses her energy on her haircare line, which seems to be taking off. With Marlo Hampton spending more time with the ladies, tensions boil over between the the two, who have been feuding for years. Hope for peace among them is unfortunately fading.
Shereé Whitfield is finally finished with the projects she’s been working on in seasons past, finally launching SHE by Shereé and announcing the completion of Chateau Shereé. Even her old flame Tyrone wants that old thang back, but with a complicated history, the relationship takes a turn for the worst.

Marlo Hampton has taken her auntie duties to the next level, raising her nephews while facing the family’s hard times. She goes after her business Lé Archive, but the ladies have some things to say about it. Marlo and Kandi’s relationship enters a dark place after an altercation that goes too far.
Drew Sidora is back and better than ever, with updated wigs and new acting gigs. But, the strain in her and husband Ralph’s relationship continues to show as the couple decide to take it to couples counseling.
New to the cast is Sanya Richards-Ross: a mother, wife, athlete and Olympic medalist. This season, she’ll debate having another child with her husband, juggle her live-in parents and give the ladies a taste of her Jamaican culture with a trip to remember.
