Why Denise Richards Will Be An amazing Addition to RHOBH

In the span of just a few months (and her time filming RHOBH) Denise Richards got engaged to hunky actor Aaron Phypers, and then shocked us all with a surprise wedding on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Denise and Aaron started dating in December 2017, shortly after Aaron split from actress Nicollette Sheridan, to whom he was secretly married.

Denise released an official statement to The Daily Dish saying, "I am so happy to officially be married to the love of my life. I can't wait for everyone to go on this incredible journey with me this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It has been a wild ride so far!"

We always hoped Denise would bring her A-game RHOBH, but who knew she'd cram this much into her debut season!

Did we mention Denise's husband is hot? Denise went public with her relationship with actor Aaron Phypers earlier this year. Phypers was secretly married to actress Nicollette Sheridan for six months in 2016, and the former couple just recently finalized their divorce. In something that sounds like a scene from a soap opera, Denise and Nicollette were neighbours when Aaron jumped from one actress to the other. Hopefully we can see some of that drama play out on RHOBH!

Speaking of drama, Denise was famously married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2005. The couple had two daughters together and the details of their divorce ruled the front pages of many tabloids back in the day.

In 2006, Charlie was legally ordered to stay 300 feet from Denise and their children. It wasn't until 2012 that the couple were on good terms; Denise even agreed to appear on Charlie's shows Two and a Half Men and Anger Management.

Though the former couple had a very rocky past, Denise and Charlie seem to be supportive of each other today. Denise posted a photo of a family dinner she had with Charlie and their daughters in 2017, and Charlie was even quoted giving Denise support for her new role on RHOBH. There might even be a chance we'll see Charlie in footage of Denise's wedding.

Denise Richards has the kind of Hollywood resume many actresses would envy. Denise got her start on classic '90s TV shows like Saved by the Bell, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Seinfeld, then transitioned to the big screen with major roles in films like Drop Dead Gorgeous and The World Is Not Enough. With all this experience, it's safe to say that Denise is pretty comfortably in a dramatic role (something she might use to her advantage as a Real Housewife).

Lisa Rinna and Denise have a friendship that goes back decades. The two actressed both had parts in the successful series Melrose Place, and they've been running in the same circle of friends ever since. Denise even appeared on an episode of Lisa Rinna's 2010 reality show, Harry Loves Lisa.

Denise has been active with animals charities and rescue organizations since a young age. In an interview with Modern Dog Magazine Denise talked about where her passion for animals came from. "I think it all started when I would see my mom rescue dogs. You know, they all need a home. If we don’t adopt the hard-to-place dogs, they will get euthanized," Denise explained. "I will even go in and adopt the dogs who are extremely old. I have a dog I adopted a year ago, Josie. She’s 17 years old now. I didn’t know how long she’d make it, but I wanted her last days to be good ones."

We don't know anything for sure, but what if this love of animals aligns Denise with Lisa Vanderpump? A friendship with Lisa Vanderpump could mean drama for Denise's relationship with Lisa Rinna!

It was actually Denise's friends, actors Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Rominj, who hinted that she'd be joining RHOBH before the show put out an official announcement. With all this support from her famous friends, it might be likely that Denise would scroll through her contact list and convince more celebs to come on as official Housewives.
