Typically one of the biggest fashion nights of the year for actresses, 2021 had a different vibe as plenty of men decided to forgo the standard black suit and tie for something a little more modern and edgy – complete with unique silhouettes, plenty of diamonds and eye-popping colour.

Not only did he show up dressed like an actual Oscar, but there was literally 24-karat gold threaded into the suit. Talk about opulent!

The Trial of the Chicago 7 Best Supporting Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay (for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm) double nominee was a world away in Sydney, Australia, with wife Isla Fisher, but he still stepped up his fashion A-game with this white-and-mocha Ralph Lauren suit and matching linen slippers.
