We know Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale slays the fashion game on the reg, but she might’ve just raised the bar with this crafty DIY approach to a salon hair makeover, the at-home edition.
The 31-year old actress went from jet-black to copper red, with help from her go-to colourist, Kristen Ess, by using Hale’s kitchen sink as a make-do bleach bowl. Those in the know can appreciate just what it takes to lift dark tresses to lighter hues, and Ess proves herself pro once again (Hale’s been every colour but red – til now).
Ess shared the end-result on her Instagram page.
Ess stressed that the pair were COVID-safe by testing beforehand for the virus and donning masks throughout the process. If this isn’t next level DIY for the desperate – a way to look after your personal grooming needs at home – we don’t know what is.
