R.I.P. to A-Rod — may his presence live on everywhere on the internet except for JLo’s Insta. One of the first things to do after a breakup is to unfollow your ex on social media. While there’s always a debate over whether you should erase all the photos of them from IG as well — some people do, and others leave them there for the memories — sometimes you just have to take a page from Jennifer Lopez’s book and get rid of their photos for good.
We all know that Bennifer is back and stronger than ever, so it was only a matter of time before JLo decided to make the executive decision to delete all evidence that she was ever engaged to Alex Rodriguez. When you’ve been cheated on in a very public way, wiping them from your feed seems like the only reasonable option!

First, she made the power move of unfollowing him on Aug. 14. Then, any posts exclusively about Rodriguez vanished. It’s worth noting that the former baseball player does still appear in several of her videos, including one of him and Lopez meeting President Joe Biden in October and a Father’s Day Tribute from June 2020.
Further proving that the “On The Floor” singer won the breakup, the 46-year-old sports broadcaster still follows Lopez and all photos of her are still on his Instagram page.

The Rodriguez social media erasure follows the pair’s split after their two-year engagement a few months ago. Then Lopez reunited with another ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck, whose relationship with actress Ana de Armas (and her cardboard cutout) came to an abrupt end.
