After leaving her home base in Britain, the Ladies of London star designed a luxurious new family villa in Dubai.

The living space

While her London home was very traditional, Caroline went relaxed with her new digs. "I want everyone who comes into the house to feel like they can come in, fall on the couch and chill," she wrote on her blog.

The 13,000-square-foot home has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

There was one colour Caroline frequently returned to when designing the home: Dior Gray.

The villa is within a private community of luxury apartments called Al Barari that has a spa, gym, pool, lush gardens, and a restaurant.

Outside the bedrooms, there's plenty of amenities right within the home, including a gym, a cinema and six terraces.

Transformation

The home was initially very dark, with lots of dark wood, but Caroline reimagined it as a light, airy space by painting the windows, doors, walls and ceilings white.

Design details

Another little pop of colour! Caroline enlisted her friend Bianca Ladow’s design firm Earlcrown Design to completely transform the space.
