Here are 10 things to know about the newest wife!

She and her husband, Paul own a sports and entertainment talent management company (Nixxi Entertainment) and one of their most high-profile clients – Boy George – lives with them in their Beverly Hills mansion.

Dorit is very good friends with Lisa Vanderpump. The last few seasons have seen Lisa under fire, first from Brandi, then Yolanda and Lisa Rinna (and Eilleen Davidson, and Erika Girardi). Still, she manages to be one of the most popular Housewives, and perhaps Dorit will be the on-camera reinforcement she needs to head-off feuds.

Judging from the preview (which, unfortunately, is geo-blocked in Canada), Erika Girardi seems to have set her sights on the newbie, telling her she is full of… well, you know. So no free tickets to the next Erika Jayne concert?

When a new Housewife moves in, a little dirt digging soon follows. The tabloids have discovered that Dorit’s huband and business partner Paul was once on very shaky financial ground, having filed for bankruptcy around 2008. Judging by their lavish lifestyle, he has either rebounded or has one heck of a credit rating.

While most Housewives religiously live-tweet shows, it seems like Dorit isn’t quite so into letting her fingers do the talking. According to her Twitter bio, she only joined the service this month (November, 2016) and she’s posted just two tweets.

She doesn’t totally abstain from social media. She is quite active on Instagram, showing off her closet, her home, her 2 young children, her fashion choices, her husband, her support team, and occasionally posting photos with her castmates/friends, like Kyle Richards.

Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards all have children, but they are older (read: don’t want to hang out with their moms too much). Dorit will be introducing young children back into the cast – her son Jagger was born in 2015 and she has an infant daughter, Phoenix. She also has 3 step-children from Paul’s first marriage.

Kyle and Kim Richards are the only born-and-bred Beverly Hills cast members this season: everyone else, including Dorit, grew up far from Rodeo Drive. Dorit is from the East Coast, and left home at 19 to study fashion before eventually landing in NYC where she met her husband Paul. Perhaps she’ll reveal what promoted their move to Beverly Hills.

When she was living in New York, Dorit had an eponymous line of swimwear made in Italy. If she’s anything like the other Housewives, Dorit will be using her new platform to diversify her portfolio. Clearly she has some friends in high fashion places.

Like Yolanda before her, Dorit is one of the few multi-lingual Housewives. She’s fluent in 4 languages, and consider the travel-heavy season to come (the women take trips to Hong Kong, Mexico and Greece), she might be putting her international tongue to good use. At least she has some options when she wants to creatively insult someone.
