I Went Shopping At Zara For Fall Outfits and This is What I’m Obsessed With

7:28
I have a love-hate relationship with fashion tycoon Zara. They have super affordable pieces that can rival even some of the most pristine fashion houses and some of my favourite celebrity style icons (helllooooo Rosie Huntington Whiteley) are often seen in the good ol’ Z. Last time I looked, I saw a few things that caught my eye — as well as a few beloved classics. Here’s what you need from Zara for that ever-classic cool gal vibe:

“THE BODY SUIT”

Let’s start with Zara’s most iconic piece of the season (and probably the year) — the world’s most flattering and comfy bodysuit. Made popular thanks to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, there hasn’t been a day this fall that I haven’t seen an influencer rocking this chic suit. It comes in nude, black, sage and white. I personally have three of the four colours myself, and I wear them on rotation.

Zara, halterneck bodysuit, 25.90 CAD.

Lug Sole Boots

These just arrived in the mail this weekend — and they are even better than the photos. I saw these lug-sole boots on Zara’s ‘New-In’ section and I was immediately obsessed. I like to think of these as this fall’s elevated combat boot, with their sleek and minimal design. I love wearing mine with jeans tucked in.

The super popular (and always sold out) white strappy heels

Okay — so this is a bit of a stretch. I got them back in the summer, but they are still going strong! These strappy, sexy heels are a must-have from Zara. I mean  just look at them! They now come in black , which I’ll be sure to snag when they re-stock my size.. Pair them with a crisp blazer and midi skirt for a super fashion-forward look.

That biker jacket everyone is wearing

Toronto girls know this jacket. They have this jacket. Their mothers (and cool aunts, obvs) probably have this jacket. It’s a signature cold weather piece from Zara that’s still going strong as ever. I wore mine on a chilly, fall weekend in Montreal a few years ago and it actually kept me toasty. I mean, there’s a reason why it seems every girl in Toronto own this piece. If you don’t already have it (or want to mix it up), it now comes in a chic, winter cream colour. I usually pair mine with a good pair of denim and a chunky turtleneck.

A belted coat

I haven’t gotten this one yet… but should I? It’s the perfect, cozy coat that would look incredible with more dressy looks. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can’t trust Zara until you see it in person (thank goodness for their amazing return policy). I’m tempted to order this one to wear with plaid trousers and fitted cardigans. How dreamy!

What are your must-haves from Zara right now? If you’re looking for some more inspo, I have a few faves that I just shared on Slice! Happy shopping!
