From ill-fitting frocks to mismatched accessories, stylist and fashion expert Ingrie Williams breaks down the week’s worst celebrity looks every Friday.
This week: Fashion flops from pro athletes and starlets alike.

Alison Brod
Have our dreams come true? Are they making a new Legally Blonde movie? If so, I think we've found our Elle Woods...and while this look would totally work as a costume, it does not work on the red carpet.

Amber Heard
There was potential here for this to look elegant, but somehow the silk and lace together make it seem like Amber is rocking her fancy PJs on a night out.

Johnny Depp
Behold the Trinket King. Level with us, Johnny: Is it always necessary to wear 27 necklaces, a mitt full of rings, a wallet chain, and three feathers in your cap? Also, if you can afford your own island, surely a trip to the tailor wont break the bank.

Cate Blanchett
Tattoos can be a beautiful form of personal expression, but this? This is giving us flashbacks to those awful Ed Hardy tattoo shirts. The world does not need a couture version.

Cate Blanchett
OK, we'll give it to you, Cate. This looks outfit damn comfortable. However, surely that belt is a safety hazard. One wrong step and you'll fly head first into the press gallery.

Buster Skrine
Are we doing velour hooded T-shirts with zipper pouches now? If this is an upcoming trend, we're going to pass.

Lindsey Ferrentino
This dress came so close to being a win. The torso of the dress is pretty, sleek, and looks amazing on this talented playwright. Those sleeves, though...Was it too hot in the theatre? Did she require a little more ventilation?

Lyndie Greenwood
The '90s are back in a big way, which has opened the door to a lot of fabulous fashion choices. Unfortunately, this outfit throws back to some style elements that should have stayed in the past.

Joss Whedon
It's a well-known fact that Joss Whedon is King of Comic Con. Sadly not even his status excuses this disheveled look. Especially when standing next to his sharply dressed coworkers. Next time try borrowing a pressed shirt from the wardrobe department.

Nancy Dell’olio
There's quite a bit going on here, with the pattern, the high neck, and the jewellery. Not to mention this is another attack of the vented sleeve! We need to stop this trend before it takes hold.

Nora von Waldstaetten
Can't help feeling like someone would have to follow this dress around with a lint roller. Every time Nora hugged someone or sat on a couch there must have been a forest of little pink fibers.

Olivia Colman
Olivia Colman is such a vibrant, hilarious person, that this feels severe in comparison. Perhaps like something Mary Poppins' dour cousin might wear.

Bruce Campbell
Bruce gets point here because he clearly put some thought into what he was going to wear. Unfortunately, in the end he looked like an amateur Wayne Newton impersonator.

Olivia Wilde
This dress needs a shorter hemline. If it hovered around the knee it could be an adorable summer cocktail dress. Right now, it's fun and sexy at the top, but old-fashioned (and slightly West Side Story) at the bottom.

Rebecca Dayan
Someone failed to tell Rebecca Dayan that she's wearing two different outfits. From the waist down she's headed to a casual business lunch, and from the waist up she's ready to hit up a concert.

Michael Chiklis
Here's the thing, Micheal: We know one of the benefits of Comic Con is that you can leave the formal wear at home, but this may have gone too far in the opposite direction. Will you be heading directly to your ski chalet after your panel? Is NY Comic Con hosting a winter orienteering competition? Maybe save the puffer vest for the slopes next time.

Saoirse Ronan
Saiorse looks amazing in this dress. It's soft and romantic, but sophisticated. Our issue here is her choice of accessories. First of all, there are far too many all crowded around her face. Second of all, the macabre strand of dead roses feel out of place. The fluttered sleeves are such a great detail in and of themselves, but all that noise buries them.

Sienna Guillory
We feel for Sienna here, because this colour suits her wonderfully, but the whole bottom half of this jumpsuit looks like one big wrinkly mess.

Susanne Bartsch
You can't really be mad at Susanne about this. If nothing else, she matched the theme of the evening , and looks like she's feeling fierce. But when it comes down to simple visuals, the dress is one big mess.
