It’s not like they kept wanting a family secret, right?
On the heels of announcing their engagement, Harry and Megs sat for their first joint interview and the topic of children came up. "Hopefully we'll start a family in the near future," Harry said as Meghan smiled next to him. These two work fast.

Did Meghan give us a hint about her pregnancy in September?
The pregnancy speculation has long been brewing but a few weeks back when Meghan changed up her hairstyle and wore it straight and down instead of wavy or in her signature loose bun, many assumed that was the hormones talking. It forced people to talk about her hair and not a possible pregnancy and it worked. Briefly.

When did Harry and Meghan tell the other royals?
The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate were told prior to Eugenie and Jack's wedding but said in a statement they "are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person."

How did Meghan’s mom take the news?
Like any future grandmother, Doria Ragland is in heaven. In a statement to the Daily Mail, she said she is ""very happy about this lovely news" and "looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild." No word on whether Meghan's father was informed ahead of time, like Ragland was, or if he learned of the news when the rest of the world did.

How did Meghan honour Princess Diana with their announcement?
All eyes were on Meghan on Day 1 of the Sussexes' royal visit in Australia as the couple had just announced her pregnancy. But aside from her beautiful dress, you may have noticed something else: gold and diamond butterfly earrings, as well as a gold bracelet. Lovely accessories, sure, but they was some sentiment behind them: they used to belong to Princess DIana. Aw.

When is Meghan due?
It's presumed that Meghan's just over the safe-to-announce 12-week mark but there are some reports claiming she's "just shy of her 15-week mark," which would make her due date "on or anound May 2nd." ICYDK, that's Princess Charlotte's birthday. Hmm, not sure if she's going to want to share her day.

Will the baby have a nanny?
Doria was reportedly seen taking baby-care classes in California but "could move to London to help look after the child because Meghan may not want to hire a nanny." Hey, if Carole Middleton can do it with Kate (and presumably Pippa), so can Megs.

Where in succession to the throne will he/she be?
Sorry, Prince Andrew, but thanks to Harry and Meghan's first child, he/she will be seventh in line to the throne, bumping Harry's uncle to eighth spot.

Will he/she get a title?
Because Harry's great-great-grandfather, King George V, limited titles within the royal family in 1917, his first son would become Earl of Dumbarton, as that is one of the lesser official titles Harry received from Queen Elizabeth on his wedding day. A daughter would be Lady (as the title of "Duchess" can't be inherited by their daughters, it can only be received by marriage) so if it's a girl, she will be Lady[First Name] Mountbatten-Windsor, and any subsequent sons would be Lord [First Name] Mounbatten-Windsor. Unless Her Majesty decides to change things up and make an exception to allow Baby Sussex (and all future Baby Sussexes) to receive HRH titles.

What was the couple’s first baby gift?
During the first stop at Admiralty House in Sydney, to meet with Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove and Lady Lynne Cosgrove, Meghan and Harry were gifted with a stuffed animal — but not just any stuffy: a stuffed kangaroo with a baby joey in its pouch. "Our first baby gift!" Meghan exclaimed. Crikey, it doesn't get more adorably perfect than that.

Hmm, Meghan, are you sure about that?
Back in 2012, when Suits was picked up for a third season, Meghan treated herself to a Cartier watch — and will pass it along.
"I've always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch," she told Hello! in 2015. "When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season — which, at the time, felt like such a milestone — I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version. I had it engraved on the back, 'To M.M. From M.M.' and I plan to give it to my daughter one day." We're sure a son will happily take it too.

Where will they have the baby?
The Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital may be Duchess Kate's turf (though sister Pippa also delivered her son there) but in the least shocking news of all this, Meghan might break from royal tradition.
"Harry and Meghan are exploring options for the birth," a Kensington Palace source told Us Weekly. "No decision has been made yet on where the baby will be born. Meghan does not have to deliver at the Lindo Wing and she can deliver wherever she would like."
The wing was opened by the Queen Mother in 1937 so unless Meghan can't get to the London hospital, chances are, out of respect, it'll likely happen there.

Where will they raise their family?
Harry and Meghan might have live-in support at Kensington Palace, thanks to Will and Kate, but the Sussexes prefer their home in the Cotswolds, two hours outside the hustle and bustle of London.
"No one bothers them there," a palace source told Us Weekly. "They're excited to raise children in the country."
Once their firstborn is school-age, however, a move back to the city might be a given.

What will they name the baby?
Will and Kate's only girl's full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana and while it's not going to be a carbon copy, Diana will likely be in the mix if Harry and Meghan have a girl. But perhaps there will somehow be a nod to Doria as well. The betting sites, on the other hand, are keeping it classic with Alice and Victoria for a girl.
Boys on the other hand, it would be AMAZING if they went with Spencer. That won't happen but, still. Charles and Philip will likely be part of it, though Arthur and James are traditional favourites. You know what won't be there, though? Thomas. Not gonna happen, Mr. Markle.
For now, he/she will be known as Baby Sussex.
