Cynthia Bailey’s ‘Momosa’ Cocktail Will Wow at Mother’s Day Brunch

Cynthia Bailey
Creative PR Inc.

Over the years, we’ve watched The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey transform from supermodel to wine connoisseur, diving head-first into her latest venture Bailey Wine Cellar. Now, she’s taking her expertise to Seagram’s Escapes where she’s launched her very own  — you guessed it — peach-flavoured drink.

If you’re scrambling for a fresh, new Mother’s Day brunch recipe, she’s got your cocktail covered. Cynthia’s simple ‘Momosa’ recipe is easy enough for anyone to pull off, and you’ll get creativity points for switching up the basic mimosa.

Cynthia raves about why it’s perfect for your brunch menu. “It’s light, it’s not too sweet, and there is a good amount of carbonation in there.” And if your mom’s not down to get drunk on a Sunday, Cynthia says that’s fine, too. “The reason it’s a good go-to is because it doesn’t really have a lot of alcohol — it’s only about six percent alcohol. Us moms, we get so busy, a lot of times we need time to decompress, but we don’t want to get a lit lit.” Of course, if you’re in the mood to get day drunk, feel free to spike your own drink.

This is how the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is celebrating her own Mother’s Day this year

As for Cynthia’s Mother’s Day, she’ll be spending it with her own mom eating some good home-cooked Southern food. “We told her she can’t cook and we’re all going to cook [for her]. I’m going to make my famous potato salad and some turkey breast. I love steamed cabbage, you know, like traditional Thanksgiving food. I love that menu any time of the year.”

It makes sense that Cynthia’s focused on giving her mom the best Mother’s Day — she feels strongly about celebrating moms and that it shouldn’t be limited to one day.

“Mother’s Day should really be every day because I think moms have to keep the entire family together. So [if you’re a mother] don’t forget to treat yourself every day. I really look at every day like Mother’s Day, because it really is the most important job that I have.
