
Calling underrepresented post-secondary students! If you’re someone who is looking to score a scholarship to assist with your tuition in radio or television studies, the Corus Futures Scholarship Program might have something to support you.
Currently, the May 6 deadline is approaching to apply for the following scholarships:
- Susannah Therrien Radio Scholarship – This scholarship (worth up to $5,000 CDN) is available to students who identify as women entering their final year of post-secondary studies in a radio program.
- Corus Television Broadcast Scholarship – This scholarship (worth up to $5,000 CDN) will be available to students who identify as racialized, Indigenous, living with disability and/or 2SLGBTQ+, who are entering their final year of post-secondary education in television broadcast studies.
The students who are selected will be offered a three-month paid internship at either a Corus radio station or a Global News station, or, if located in Toronto, have the opportunity to intern at The Morning Show or at ET Canada.
