Canada’s Biggest Poutine Festival is Back With Over 500 Poutine Creations to Try

Craving a heaping plate of French fries and cheese curds smothered in some piping hot gravy? Well, poutine lovers, you’re in luck – Canada’s biggest poutine festival, La Poutine Week, is back from now until February 14.

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or just want to try out some obscure poutine-based dishes, La Poutine Week is back and better than ever with more than 500 poutine creations to try.

“We are honored to be hosting our eleventh year of the festival and to have remained Canada’s largest poutine festival,” La Poutine co-founder Na’eem Adam explains in statement. “So let’s dig in, it’s poutine for the win!”

What restaurants are participating in La Poutine Week?

Presented by Sysco and delivered exclusively with DoorDash, the 11th-annual La Poutine Week boasts over 500 participating restaurants across the country, including beloved spots like Toronto’s Big Smoke Burger, which has a pulled pork poutine, Montreal’s Le Gras Dur, which has a beef birria poutine, and Vancouver’s The Ridge Roadhouse, which has a dill pickle poutine.

After testing out some of the best poutine Canada has to offer, you can head to lapoutineweek.com to vote for your favourite dishes, helping promote the restaurants that made them. The website features a voting leaderboard all week long, so that users can see the top five restaurants to date.

Currently, the top five restaurants boast unique creations like a lasagna-inspired poutine and a Japanese street food poutine.

How do you participate in La Poutine Week?

Head to their website to find participating restaurants in your area and, from there, you can choose to dine in store, pick up your poutine or get it delivered right to your home.
