5 Fall Trends Under $100 You’ll Actually Want to Wear

Fall is the season of pumpkin spiced everything and sweet style opportunities. This is an exciting year for fall trends — and we’re talking about how to stay on top of all the good fashion happening this season. For the best fall outfit trends, I’ve created this handy guide to support your seasonal retail experience. I’ve narrowed it down to five fall trends that feel right — and how to get them all for under $100!

If you’ve already seen my video on five fall trends for under $100, you’ve already got a head start on some of this season’s trends. In case you haven’t, I’ve included five more trends below, just to make sure you have everything you need to have the best fall outfits this year.

The classic trench

A classic closet staple — the trench coat is officially back in full-force this season. It’s an always-sophisticated piece, that can be spiced up easily with accessories. In fact, many people have been seen rocking their favourite trench coats with a studded belt or combat boots to give their classic coats a 90’s grunge vibe. If you’re not into the rocker-chic trend, you can consider layering it with your favourite chunky knits to give your outfits a more tapered feel!

Try this one from Nasty Gal to find one for under $100.

Cowboy boots

That’s right, cowboy boots are not just for the farm, folks. It turns out they’re actually perfect for all of your casual fall outfits too. They have been spotted on all of your favourite style influencers, and have even made appearances on the runways of Dolce & Gabbana and Isabelle Marant! In fact, 2019 has put its own spin on the classic cowboy boot. You can find them in all shapes and sizes, from patent black to metallic gold, and they can be seen worn with everything from dresses to denim jeans!

These red cowboy boots from Amazon Fashion will surely make a statement without breaking the bank!

Burnt orange anything

While I’m not talking about a specific item this time, the “burnt orange” trend is still worth mentioning. Rust coloured everything is a thing of the past— it’s all about the burnt orange now, but can we really tell the difference? This colour trend is exploding all over the internet and is most commonly seen in the form of satin skirts, jackets and matching suit sets! If you’re not ready to fully commit to an entire orange outfit, consider throwing in some burnt orange accessories into your wardrobe mix!

Here’s a maxi skirt that I’m loving in this shade.

Chunky sweaters

A 2018 trend that’s still making waves in fall 2019 is the chunky sweater trend. Coming in all forms from cropped to oversized, the chunky sweater is a perfect piece to add to your fall collection! You can wear yours over a maxi dress, over that burnt orange skirt I talked about, or tuck one into your favorite pair of mom jeans!

This one from Nasty Gal is a favorite. In fact, you can see me wearing it with my favorite pair of jeans below.

The headband trend

Big, opulent and bold headbands are here to make a statement this fall. They are breaking into the fashion scene in every shade you can think of — and our inner Gossip Girl’s couldn’t be happier. If you plan on flaunting the headband this season, pearl details are a must and sure way to make your inner Blair Waldorf shine through!

This Zara pearl headband is an influencer favorite and worth adding to your list of trends to jump on this Fall!

Between these five trends for fall, and the ones I covered in our video, we’ve got your outfits covered for fall 2019!
