Camille was the villain
When Camille makes cameos on RHOBH now, she’s a total angel. But in season one, she was the villain. She was a “guy’s girl” who would rather hang out with the husbands than her castmates. Camille also mercilessly came for Kyle Richards through her now-legendary friend Alison Dubois.

Giggy’s full name is Gigolo
Was there really a time before we knew Giggy? He’s become such an iconic part of RHOBH that we totally forgot his full name is actually Gigolo.

Cedric had yet to betray Lisa
Back in season one, Lisa and Ken had a lovable houseguest and BFF, Cedric Martinez. Everyone was totally charmed by him back in season 1, and never could have imagined that he would end up selling stories about Lisa and Ken to the tabloids.

Lisa didn’t live in Villa Rosa
Lisa’s infinity pool at Villa Rosa has been the site of many classic scenes on RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules, but in season one, she lived in a totally different – albeit still very glamorous – home.

Taylor’s relationship with Russell was fishy
Taylor claimed she saw him at a restaurant when they were both waiting for a table and fell in love with him on the spot. Exactly no one believed that she was the one who chased him down at the start of their relationship – or that she was instantly attracted to him.

Kim wanted another baby
Kim was 46 when RHOBH premiered, but she was talking about having a baby. Even then, Kyle thought the suggestion was ludicrous.
Kim's baby fever would eventually be cured when she became a grandmother in season 7.

Portia was still in diapers
She was only one! We now know Portia to be a sassy, adorable little girl, but when RHOBH premiered, she was still crawling around in diapers.

That time Taylor sensually devoured cotton candy
Do you remember how into the cotton candy Taylor got? It was one of the oddest – and most overtly sexualized – scenes in RHOBH history.

Taylor’s $60,000 tea party
Taylor dropped 60 grand on her daughter’s Alice In Wonderland themed birthday party. Her daughter basically hated it – she hid her face the whole time and refused to pose for photos, so Taylor had a solo photo shoot in the middle of all her decorations.

“Why would anyone be interested in you without Kelsey”
The driving force of drama during season 1 was Camille’s feud with Kyle, which was prompted when Kyle allegedly wondered aloud why anyone would care about Camille if Kelsey wasn’t around.

“You’re such a f–king liar, Camille!”
When Kyle said those words to Camille, it was instantly iconic.

Kim and Kyle got electric facials
We still don’t really get these. And they didn’t take off, either. Maybe ladies in Beverly Hills still get these, but we have a feeling they haven’t been done since 2010.

Camille’s friend Nick
Camille had a married friend named Nick who she brought to events when Kelsey couldn’t make it – which was, like, always. They were suuuuper touchy-feely and everyone felt uncomfortable when he was around. Also: Nick was a total babe.

Camille gifted Kyle an etiquette book
After they made up, Camille passive-agressively gifted Kyle a book called How to Behave. Years later, almost exactly the same scene played out on The Real Housewives of Potomac.

The dinner party from hell
If there's one episode all Real Housewives fans need to watch, it's The Dinner Party From Hell. It was when Camille invited her psychic friend, Alison Dubois, to tug on her electric cigaratte all night and drag all of her RHOBH costars. It was also the night we were introduced to “the morally corrupt" Faye Resnick. Classic RHOBH!
