Union and husband Dwyane Wade had their first child together via surrogate on Nov. 7, 2018, and no one was the wiser. They announced the news of the "lovely day" on Instagram, where they happily shared pics of daughter Kaavia James Union Wade.

"We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days," they both captioned the photos. "Welcome to the party sweet girl!"

Wade also has three sons — Zaire, Zion and Xavier Zechariah — for his first marriage, along with his nephew Dahveon, whom he also raises.

The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer turned to none other than her sister, Sara Moffitt, to carry her three children — daughter Annabelle and twin sons Luke and Keller.

"I have been very honest with my children, especially my daughter, who's 5," Simpson told People. "She knows that her aunt carried her in her belly and that's where she lived and then she was born. I just want them to know how they came to be and also not make it a big deal. Like, 'That's just what happened. That's where you lived and then you were born and now you’re mine.'"

Emily is also stepmom to husband Shane Simpson's two daughters Chanel, 12, and Shelby, 17.

The happy news was confirmed by Page Six in November 2018, that Chastain and husband Gian Luca Passi De Preposulo are the proud parents of five-month-old Giuletta via surrogate. The fiercely private couple won't be sharing pics on social media anytime soon, however, so any shots of them and their daughter will be from the paps.

The producer and her husband, Jimmy Fallon, struggled for five years to get pregnant, an experience the late-night host described as "awful."

"We tried before, we told people and then it didn't happen," Fallon recalled to Today. "And it's just really depressing. It's really hard on everybody."

After turning to gestational surrogacy, the difficult times are behind them and the couple have two daughters, Winnie, born in July 2013, and Frances, who arrived on Dec. 3, 2017.

Sanchez and husband Zach Gilford struggled having a baby, including a devastating late-term miscarriage in 2015 that she later relived on-screen. Two years later, in November 2017, the couple welcomed their daughter via surrogate.

"It's been a long, painful journey for us," the couple told People. "Zeppelin is the light of our lives."

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Kelsey Grammer have been divorced since 2011 but their messy split has never changed the love they have for their children — son Jude Gordon and daughter Mason Olivia — both of whom were born via surrogate.

"If you can't get pregnant for whatever reason, it's great to know that there are options available for people that want to have a family. I wish I could have had that experience," Camille blogged in 2012. "I'm just so grateful I had a wonderful surrogate who carried our two children. I have two amazing angels in my life that I love so much. They are such a gift and a blessing from God."

Hobson and husband George Lucas welcomed daughter Everest on Aug. 12, 2013 via gestational surrogate. She's the little sister of Lucas' three adult children — Amanda, whom George adopted with his first wife, and Katie and Jett, whom he adopted as a single parent.

The former Bachelor winner (she won Season 12's Matt Grant's heart, though they split months after his television proposal) went on to marry Nik Richie in 2010, and gave birth to their daughter Press Dahl Lamas-Richie the following year. After suffering a miscarriage in 2014 that left her unable to have children, Lamas used in vitro fertilization and lined up a very generous surrogate: her stepmother, Shawna Craig. Son Lyon Lamas-Richie was born on July 4, 2015.

"Shawna's not my stepmother, she's like my soul sister," Lamas told Closer Weekly. "I look at her like an angel that blessed my whole family, including my father. I have just been given the biggest blessing in the world and I'll always be grateful."

Buffington and now-ex-husband Dennis Quaid had fraternal twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, via surrogate on Nov. 8, 2007.

"God has definitely blessed us," Dennis Quaid said in a statement after their birth. But 10 days later, they needed prayers answered once again when the infants suffered overdoses after hospital staff gave the twins the incorrect dosage of a blood thinner. Thankfully, everything turned out OK, there was a happy ending, and they're doing just fine, thank you very much. Phew!

Kimye welcomed their third child, daughter Chicago, using a surrogate after Kardashian suffered a potentially life-threatening condition called placenta accreta during her previous pregnancies.

The singer-songwriter and husband Mike McCuddy struggled with infertility for years and were going to turn to adoption when they gave surrogacy a go.

"We'd hired an adoption attorney, we had the pictures, the book, had it all ready to go," DioGuardi told People. "Then ... I knew this woman, a friend, and on a whim I asked somebody to bring [gestational surrogacy] up and get her thoughts on it and she seemed open to it. She came over with her husband, talked it through, and we negotiated it together." After seven unsuccessful embryo transfers, the eighth one took, and son Greyson was born in 2013.

Sagal had two kids before marrying her fourth husband, Kurt Sutter, in 2004. The couple decided they wanted another child so they used a surrogate to have Esme in 2007.

"I'd had some medical issues after the birth of my other two children, so I was unable to carry a child, so we were always looking at alternative approaches," she explained to OK! magazine.

Single mom Lucy Liu welcomed her baby boy, Rockwell, in August 2015 via gestational carrier and was open about the process from the beginning.

Sadly, the Bill and Giuliana tried to conceive via gestational carrier but their surrogate, Delphine, suffered a series of miscarriages. The last embryo lost was in 2014.

After years of fertility struggles, Smart and husband Carter Oosterhouse announced the birth of their daughter, Flora, on Instagram.

Bassett and husband Courtney B. Vance underwent fertility treatments for seven years before considering surrogacy. Then in 2006, the couple welcomed fraternal twins, Bronwyn and Slater.

After years of unsuccessful attempts, Banks and husband Max Handelman ended up having both their sons right after each other thanks to surrogacy (Felix was born in 2011; Magnus arrived the following year).

"Like Felix, Magnus was born via gestational surrogate," the actress shared.
