What feud? While fans have long speculated about animosity and beef between Selena Gomez (who dated Justin Bieber on-and-off for eight years in the past) and Hailey Bieber (who has been married to Justin Bieber since 2018), the two stars quashed the rumours with a series of friendly and stylish snaps over the weekend.
Both Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber attended the Academy Museum gala in Los Angeles. During the event, Page Six reports that the pair were photographed in a friendly face-to-face pose by Tyrell Hampton, who shared the image on Instagram with the caption, “plot twist.” More of Hampton’s images from the evening show the two smiling and even hugging, according to Billboard.

As the photos show, Selena and Hailey don’t appear to have any problems getting along or being close to one another. The friendly interactions come a few weeks after Hailey appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and denied rumours that she “stole” Justin Bieber from Selena.
Similarly, the Rare Beauty founder also recently addressed the rumours (following Hailey’s interview) in a TikTok Live. According to PEOPLE, Selena called out the negative comments from fans on the subject, noting that “words matter.”
