As if hearing that your dogs were stolen wasn’t terrifying enough, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot on Wednesday night in Hollywood while out with the canines.

The 34-year old performer spoke out on her Instagram alongside a photo of her missing pups: “My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.”

While the dog walker is on the road to recovery, the pups are still nowhere to be found. To help incentivize their return, the actress from the award-winning Star Is Born film put up a $500,000 reward.
