0:30

Adjust your wigs and mark your calendars — The Real Housewives of Potomac returns for season six on July 11. After a tumultuous season five that was nothing short of Real Housewives perfection, the Potomac crew is back — and from the trailer we can tell they’re keeping the same energy. This season, Monique is bowing out after a fight with Candiace that landed them in court, and being replaced with newbie Mia Thornton. Here’s what’s going to go down this season.

What to expect on The Real Housewives of Potomac season six

After Gizelle got torn apart in the season five reunion for defending her relationship with Jamal, it looks like the rumours were true. Her relationship will start to unravel and she’ll try to put her focus instead on her children and building a happy home.

Despite the issues Karen and Ray were going through last season, Karen will make plans to celebrate their 25th anniversary. She’ll run into problems when Ray and the enduring pandemic make things difficult.

Ashley’s growing her family with baby number two, but she’s stricken with fear of the postpartum depression she experienced the first time around. Issues with Michael will arise once again after they’ve worked hard to overcome them.

Interview: RHOP star Dr. Wendy Osefo: “What you see is what you get.”

Robyn is overwhelmed with planning her wedding, building a house and running a business. In the end, she isn’t left with much gas in the tank and Juan Dixon starts to notice.

Candiace is going full-on with her career goals. Because she’s busy pursuing her masters degree, recording an album and acting, her husband Chris steps in as her manager. Things will get tricky as work and marriage get blended in the worst way.

Dr. Wendy Osefo is living in her truth and loving it. She has a new attitude and is ready to show the other ladies another side of her.

Mia Thornton joins the group with a reputation of being a certified “boss.” She’s a mother of three with a successful husband and multiple businesses. She’ll open up about her past which hasn’t always been easy.
