alternative-groomswearBrides, while you may be overwhelmed with decisions, your hubby-to-be may feel like he has no options at all when thinking about what to wear on the big day! Especially if your groom is a stylish guy, he may feel defeated by the lack of options he may have, especially if a tux is just not his thing.

So, what to do when your guy is not interested in the same black suit, white shirt, solid colour tie and black shoes? Here's a little help for the fashion-savvy grooms!

Dress Up Khakis
Have all the men in the wedding party wear dark coloured khakis, white shirts and suspenders, and have the groom add a swanky vest to make him stand out above the rest. This is an awesome look for an outdoor or rustic wedding. Fun but polished charm!

Funky Suit
Go for a suit that has a really cool pattern or crazy design. This is indeed a brave move, but this boldness will create such a different and playful look. The bride may complete the look with something funky in her hair or in her bouquet, so they complement each other. This eccentric look is definitely something that will attract lots of interest and give guests something to remember.

Casual Chic
A casual kind of guy that likes to be comfortable can wear sneakers and a great dinner jacket with cool pants. Cashmere sweaters, pressed dress pants and some super fly sneakers make for a super cool-looking groom!

Urban Chic
For a really urban look, opt for a velvet jacket, button down and dark jeans. A really off-beat boutonniere will complete the look.

Bold Coloured Suits
Ditch the black suits and go for a really bold coloured suit. Have the groomsmen wear other bold colours, too.

Summer White
A crisp white suit commands attention and screams class. At a summer wedding, it's a very dapper look that's sure to make him feel just as special as the bride!

Cardigans and Bow-Ties
Another very casual but hip look. Have all the guys dress in the same colour cardigans, while the groom wears a different color. The bow-tie should be funky and bold as well to really add to the character of this look.

Whatever he chooses to wear, his best bet is to stay true to his personality. Feeling good is being comfortable in what you are wearing and wearing it proud!
