What has Eileen Davidson been up to since leaving RHOBH?

After 36 years Eileen will be parting ways with Ashley Abbott, the character she has been playing since 1982 on The Young and the Restless. Eileen confirmed the news on Twitter, saying "Yes I am leaving my second home @YandR_CBS in September. I’ve been so blessed to be able to play Ashley Abbott and work with the amazing people on the show and have nothing but gratitude and love for all!!! Time for a little more control over my day to day!"

Eileen's portrayal of Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless is one of the longest running and most popular character arcs in the soap world. Her dedication to the character was one of the reasons she decided to step away from RHOBH, and it looks like Eileen knew exactly what she was doing because she just won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.

In the fall of 2017, Eileen made a triumphant return to yet another soap, Days of Lives. Not long after, Lisa R also returned to the show. With Eileen pulling double duty on two major soaps, there's also talk she may earn dual daytime Emmy nominations.

Eileen's still buddies with her former co-stars, including her soap world bestie Lisa Rinna and pop star Erika, whose swagger mesmerized Eileen from the moment they met.

In an unaired scene from this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna and Erika met up with Eileen for lunch and a goss. Eileen was surprised to learn they'd made amends with her old sparring partner, Dorit. A little tip for Eileen: if you're still looking to talk trash about Dorit, Camille is only a phone call away.

Ouch! Eileen broke her foot while on vacation in Florida. At least her recovery shoe was cuter than the average cast?

Aside from her soap gigs, Eileen shot a movie with her husband Vincent called Walk to Vegas.

Now that she's out of the reality TV game, she's also found time to shoot a couple of other movies, including a horror movie called The Guest House and a drama called Symphoria.

While in Florida, Eileen was one of the grand marshals for a charity motorcycle ride benefiting the Camp Boggy Creek Mission.

She may no longer be a Beverly Hills Housewife, but Eileen's still living the Hollywood lifestyle – including big movie premieres. This pic was taken at the premiere of Sharknado 5, which featured cameos by RHOA's Porsha Williams and Claudia Jordan and Ladies of London star Caprice Bourret.

She also hit up the Emoji Movie premiere with her son Jesse and her nieces.

Aside from her soap career, one of Eileen's main reasons for leaving RHOBH was family time, which she's gotten in spades since leaving the show.
