    Real estate entrepreneur, television personality and bestselling author Fredrik Eklund is known for his signature high kicks and unstoppable energy on the Emmy-nominated hit television series “Million Dollar Listing: New York” and is a producer and star of Bravo’s new real estate show “Bethenny and Fredrik.” Founder of the top sales team at prestigious real estate firm Douglas Elliman, Fredrik regularly breaks sales records and was named the number one real estate team in New York City by REAL Trends and The Wall Street Journal in 2017 with close to $1 billion in closed sales this year alone.

    Often working on a building for years before it hits the market, Fredrik vets locations, interviews architects, and works with designers to customize each space to appeal to target buyers. Redefining what it means to be a real estate broker in today’s market, Fredrik is changing the New York skyline, one luxury high-rise at a time.

    Born and raised outside of Stockholm, Sweden, Fredrik understood the nuances of negotiation from a young age. At four years old, he performed a one-man show on a makeshift stage in his living room, inviting his family and neighbors to attend and charging five kroners per seat. At seven, he signed up to sell Christmas calendars and was obsessed with being the number-one seller out of thousands of kids. He crafted a sales strategy and went door to door, sometimes spending hours with his customers. That winter, he broke all sales records for the calendar company and learned his first of many lessons in the art of the sell: authenticity and earned trust are the cornerstones of a successful transaction.

    At 10 years old, Fredrik visited New York City for the first time and was instantly hooked, captivated by the vertical landscape of gleaming towers. He vowed to return one day to make his mark. Fredrik went on to study at the Stockholm School of Economics and subsequently co-founded an Internet company and worked for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo.

    At 25, Fredrik returned to Manhattan armed mostly with a pair of well-worn sneakers and resolute determination to achieve success in an as yet unknown field of endeavor. During his first year in real estate, Fredrik sold $50 million worth of property and was nominated for Rookie of the Year by the Real Estate Board of New York. To date, he has closed more than $5 billion in residential sales, is consistently setting records, and has a client list that includes major celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Gigi Hadid, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Daniel Craig, Alec Baldwin, and Jennifer Lopez. His active listings currently exceed $2 billion and includes his new development portfolio. In addition, he is the founder of Scandinavia's most high-end residential real estate brokerage with 50 employees, two offices, and $1 billion in closed sales this year. Despite his success, Fredrik remembers to not take himself too seriously.

    Fredrik is married to abstract painter Derek Kaplan, and share twins, Milla and Freddy. He spends weekends with his husband, dogs, and kids in their Georgian mini-mansion in Connecticut. Known for being part "shark" in business, Fredrik is a softy at home, where he enjoys cooking, photography, and taking care of his puppies and family. He also launched his own wine, High-Kick, now sold in six countries and counting, and his rosé wine officially is the number-one new rosé in Sweden.

    Steve Gold is a successful luxury broker at The Corcoran Group. Formally at Town Residential, Gold primarily focuses on luxury properties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn and played a vital role in many marquee new developments in Greenwich Village, Flatiron, SoHo the West Village, and now The Upper West Side, where he is spearheading sales of Circa Central Park. Prior to real estate, Gold had an enviable career in the fashion industry, working with some of the world's most coveted designers, including Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. Although modeling granted him the opportunity to travel extensively around the world, he considers New York his home and can't imagine living anywhere else.


    Always hungry for a challenge, Gold decided to move on from fashion and go big into real estate. Whether working with a first-time buyer or an A-list celebrity, he prides himself on making the real estate transaction process as seamless and efficient as possible for his clients. Born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, Gold is an avid sportsman. He grew up sailboat racing in the Long Island Sound with his father on their boat, Turning Point. A lifelong athlete, he also enjoys ice hockey, boxing, skiing and surfing in his spare time. Beyond real estate and sports, however, Gold also allots his time to participate in several charitable causes, including his past support for AmFar for AIDS research, FreeArts NYC, and The Brazil Foundation, among others. Most recently, Gold has been an advocate and spokesperson for the Nassau County SPCA.


    Gold graduated magna cum laude from the Stern School of Business at New York University with degrees in Finance and Marketing. He currently splits time between New York City and Southampton, NY with his dog Pablo, whom he rescued from high kill shelter in Georgia.

    Ryan Serhant’s first day in the real estate business was on September 15, 2008, the day Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the subprime mortgage collapse. While the real estate sector has slowly recovered, Serhant has become one of the most successful brokers in the world, with agents under his leadership in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and the Hamptons. Ryan is known to audiences all over the world as one of the stars of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York. He also starred in Bravo’s series, “Sell it Like Serhant” where Ryan showed people how it’s done as he put his skills to the test, helping struggling sales reps who are looking for his expertise. Last year, Ryan published a successful sales book by Hachette, Sell It Like Serhant.

    Serhant is recognized as a real estate powerhouse. His team at Nest Seekers International sold just under $1B in real estate in 2017 and consistently ranks in the top five real estate teams nationwide in the Wall Street Journal Real Trends annual review, with Serhant consistently the youngest team leader in the top ten. As a real estate expert, he is a frequent contributor to CNN, CNBC, The Today Show and Bloomberg TV, and is often quoted in The New York Times, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal. He is the real estate correspondent for Daily Mail TV, a nationally syndicated television show and he recently launched his own vlog at youtube.com/ryanserhant.

    Serhant is an active supporter of nonprofit organizations including DKMS, Operation Smile, Save the Children, Make a Wish, the Human Rights Campaign, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Pink Agenda and UNICEF, among others.

    After graduating Hamilton College in 2006 with twin degrees in English literature and theatre, Serhant headed to New York City to pursue an acting career before becoming a successful real estate broker. He currently lives in New York City with his wife Emilia, and they welcomed their first daughter earlier this year, Zena.

    Luis D. Ortiz was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised, along with his twin brother Daniel, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. With eight years of real estate experience under his belt, Luis has helped major figures in New York City—from partners at Goldman Sachs to celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Sandra Lee—find their dream homes. While working at some of New York's most successful boutique brokerages such as Prodigy Network and Synergy, he had the opportunity to represent the most prestigious developments in the downtown area, including the Cipriani Residences (55 Wall Street), The Setai (40 Broad Street), and The District (111 Fulton Street). Luis decided to further his career at Keller Williams NYC where he quickly rose to the rank of Vice President. In August of 2013, Ortiz joined forces with New York's #1 real estate brokerage firm Douglas Elliman and founded his own real estate Team- The Luis D. Ortiz Team. In 2014 he was awarded the Pinnacle Award.

    Before establishing himself as a top broker in NYC's real estate industry, Luis studied film direction at New York's Film Academy, completing the Director's Program in 2006. As a student, he managed to direct and produce short films and several music videos including "Amalia"—which earned him the Best Director Award at the 2007 Puerto Rico Film Festival—and "Dentro de Mi" by Chino y Nacho featuring Grammy-winning artist Don Omar.     Originally from the South, Tyler Whitman has nearly a decade of real estate experience. When he moved to New York, he had a less than ideal experience working with a broker to find his first home. It was then that he realized real estate was his passion and that he could have a positive impact on helping individuals find their dream homes.


    Currently, Tyler works for a start-up real estate firm, Triplemint, where his mission is to improve the experience of buying, selling and renting homes through the increased access the firm provides.
