When you think grandfather or grandmother, it’s easy to envision Tweety Bird’s owner or Dorothy’s mom on The Golden Girls. Maybe you’re also getting the faint whiff of mothballs, picturing a mouthful of dentures, or maybe imagining a group of them sitting around a table playing bridge.

But Hollywood is a different world and celebs’ kids’ kids can sometimes have all-star athletes, stars of blockbuster movies or award-winning performers as their grams or gramps. That’s right, being a grandparent is cooler than ever.
