When Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell welcomed daughter Bluebell in 2006, she kept the father's identity under wraps. Asked whether she was in a romantic relationship at the time, she said, “No, and to be honest, I don’t really care.” Bluebell's father was eventually revealed to be journalist and screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.

Known for her roles on TV series Mad Men and The Last Man on Earth, January Jones welcomed son Xander in 2011 and has yet to reveal the identify of his father. “I don’t have room for anything else, so I don’t know how I would have done it with a partner,” Jones told The Edit of being a single parent. “I knew I would be raising my son alone. It was something I went in to knowingly, I was prepared mentally — and I was excited about it.”

Former Fugees singer Lauryn Hill was already mother of five children with long-term partner Rohan Marley, son of late reggae icon Bob Marley, when Hill gave birth to a sixth child in 2011. She confirmed that Marley was not the father of her newborn son, but did not say who was. To this day, Hill has yet to reveal who the father of that baby is.

Best known for her role as devious Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, Lena Headey gave birth to her second child, daughter Teddy, in the summer of 2015, Headey kept the identity of her baby's dad secret. It wasn't until two years later that she confirmed that Dan Cadan, a filmmaker and childhood friend, was Teddy's father. Headey and Cadan got hitched in 2018.

When supermodel Linda Evangelista's son Augustin was born in 2006, she declined to provide the identity of the father. Four years later, court documents in a child-support dispute named the father as French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, who is currently married to actress Salma Hayek.

First-time mom Mindy Kalings welcomed daughter Katherine in December 2017, with the name of the father left blank on the birth certificate. Kaling has yet to reveal the father's identity, although fans are convinced it's her writing partner and former co-star on The Office B.J. Novak. Neither Kaling nor Novak has confirmed nor denied.

In 2008, actress Minnie Driver confirmed on a TV talk show that she was expecting a baby. It wasn't until that baby was three that she finally revealed the identity of his father, writer and producer Timothy J. Lea, whom she was dating while he served as exec producer on her TV series The Riches.

Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch welcomed son Eli Benjamin in August 2010 and initially kept the father's identity under wraps. A few months later, after reading rampant speculation about who it could be, she revealed that her boyfriend, natural foods consultant John Wahl, as her son's daddy.

Known for her long-running role on TV legal drama The Practice, Camryn Manheim gave birth to son Milo in 2001. In interviews, Manheim would only say that she used the services of an unidentified sperm donor to become pregnant. Speculation arose that model Jeffrey Brezovar, who was reportedly present at the birth, may have have been the father, and he issued a statement on Manheim’s behalf. “Camryn is the happiest I’ve ever seen her, and I’ve seen her at many happy moments,” he said, but when asked about whether he played a role in the pregnancy he responded, “I have an agreement not to speak.”
