Be Your Own Self-Portrait Photographer
I'm a bit of a self-portrait junkie. Yes, that's right, I like taking pictures with me in them. Now, before I'm accused of being narcissistic, I'm sure most of you would admit that you've tried to be your own Annie Lebovitz and staged a little point and click session with the digital camera. I like the self protrait photo as the results often include partial headshots, huge eyes, or random individuals in the background; they're all very entertaining, but not always the desired shot.
At a recent event I noticed someone walking around with a funny looking stick attached to his camera. Curiosity got the better of me and I had to ask what the gadget was for. Much to my picture-taking delight he demonstrated that he used the long handled gizmo to take great self portrait shots with his buddies.
Some of you will surely jest at this little discovery, but for those of you looking to add a bit more fun to the photo album give the Quikpod a whirl (and avoid forehead-less photos like the above). If nothing else using the contraption will make those around you giggle!
