    Barbara is the matriarch and co-owner of the store. There is nothing that bothers Barbara more than mothers who let the bride take over and tell mom what to wear to the wedding. Barbara is passionate about standing up for “mom”–reminding her that she is not a bridesmaid and doesn’t have to match the dinner napkins! Barbara is ballsy and gregarious. She has a hearty laugh and a big heart and with over twenty years of dress-selling experience she has strong opinions about which colours and styles best flatter her customers. It’s Barbara’s mission to ensure that moms always look their best. Close

    Dante mans the accessories counter, and is Terrie’s husband. He’s a black belt who used to teach martial arts to Navy Seals. Now you can find him swathing ladies in rhinestone necklaces and helping run a smooth ship at the shop. Terrie says, “customers like having a bit of male energy in the store.” Close

    Margaret used to have a career in politics. Now she sells dresses to stressed-out mothers of brides and grooms–and she says this job is way harder! Margaret is constantly shocked at how badly brides treat their poor mothers. While she always wants to help mom find the perfect dress, Margaret is passionate about being there for moral support too so the brides don’t tear poor moms apart. She pulls no punches but often pulls out a sharp wit as a way to disarm the peanut gallery that accompanies mom to buy a dress. Close

    Terrie co-owns the shop with her mother Barbara. She’s smart as a whip, sharp as a tack and really good at rolling her eyes! Terrie is compassionate with the brides who show up but also isn’t afraid to “tell it like it is” and confront them when it comes to helping mom chose the best dress. She says buying a dress is never just about the dress. Terrie started her career designing custom gowns for beauty pageants. Close
