The NBA legend decided that he needed his own private jet to get around. He plopped down $50 million and picked up a powder blue Gulfstream IV. The fully customized jet also has Jordan's jersey number (23), the number of his NBA championships (6) and his initials painted on it. The plane's aircraft registration number? N236MJ.

Professional golfer John Daly admitted in his autobiography that he's had a hard time with a gambling problem. He's blown as much as $60 million over the years. His biggest loss happened back in 2005 when he burned through more than $1.5 million dollars in a single day at a Vegas casino.

Former boxing champion Evander Holyfield raked it in during his career. When it was time to build a house, he went big. Really big. He built a $15 million 54,000 sq. ft. mansion in suburban Atlanta. With 109 rooms, including 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchens and two bowling alleys, it was a comfortable place to call home. And it cost $1 million a year to maintain. But then financial troubles forced him to into foreclosure. The estate was auctioned off for the bargain basement price of just $7.5 million.
