Thankfully for those of us who grew up with dreams of one day living out our very own Cinderella story, commoners and royals saying “I do” is no longer taboo, and in fact, more common then ever.

We just can’t talk about commoners who married royalty without giving a shoutout to our favourite newlyweds, the now-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and her Duke, Prince Harry. From the silver screen to the world’s stage, we’ve loved watching the former Suits actress live out a real-life faitytale before our eyes.

You’ll often hear women rave about their tall partners – and it’s been a long-held stereotype that taller men are most often associated with personality traits that we assume come as part of their tall package. And while it’s not surprising that through these stereotypes, women have been conditioned to seek out men who are taller than themselves, and vice versa, you might be surprised to discover that there’s actually no shortage of short celebrities with tall wives.

Out to show us all that height’s got nothing to do with it is pint-size comedian Kevin Hart, ringing in at 5 foot 3 inches, standing proud with his much-taller model wife Eniko Parrish, who is 5 foot 7 inches.

While it’s never been uncommon for men to marry women a few years younger than themselves, it’s always been somewhat taboo to see a woman hook up with a younger man.
