Rudsak-Runway-Show-2014-Featured

Showing aviators, motorcycle jackets and metallics, the fashion cool kid in town this week is Rudsak. The Canadian brand has been getting us through cold Canadian winters (and slow springs) since 1994, when Evik Asatoorian first starting making jackets and coats. Since then, we've come to rely on Rudsak for luxurious leather goods and warm winter accessories. This week, they showed off a slick spring 2014 line with some of the hottest trends of the season: animal print, two-tone clothing, and black and white.

 Trend 1: Snakeskin print

While animal print isn't a new trend, seeing snakeskin print (instead of the standard leopard) on the spring 2014 runway was a welcome change. Rudsak showed the print in small doses (like shorts and vests) making it super easy to pull off.

Trend 2: Two-tone

Colour-blocking has been big for awhile, and it's back for spring 2014. Shown on everything from T-shirts to vests, this is the trendiest way to wear two of your favourite shades at once. Can't decide between black and camel? Wear both.

Trend 3: Black and white

Like peanut butter and jelly, black and white is a classic combination that never goes out of style. So we were thrilled to see it making a return for spring 2014. Try pairing this terrific twosome with a pop of colour to bring it into the warmer season.
