I absolutely love watching Workout. I only wish I could be on there and get the help i want and need :)
My favorite work out program is Body for life. My fiance and I just started our second round of 12 weeks after enjoying great results. I love it because it is a balanced program with cardio and weight lifting and the nutrition is balanced as well. It takes some effort upfront to get organized, but it's worth it.
I love the biggest loser it looks like so much fun I probably should be on the show because I am 359 lbs and I'm only 25yrs old :(
I loved Jenny Craig, but it was expensive. Then tried Atkins, with my parents and we all lost weight. I did really well with it when I included exercise. I find counting calories confusing when I have things like stews, pies, etc...
Counting calories and exercising.
cutting fried foods, exercice 4 times a week and drink lots of water. I can't do diets :( I have 10 pounds 'til I get to my goal weight I guess I should do the stupid diets.
I loved the Carbs Addicts diet. It is a gentler version of the Atkins diet that allows fruit and veggies in the evening meal. Great results, and not craving or cranky at all!
The best weight loss program for me was definitely joining curves. The staff is all girls and there is no guys allowed inside so its like your there with a bunch of chicks all there for the same reason to get fit and lose weight. They measure you up and you set goals for yourself and everybody there is so incredibly supportive. Then they take you around the circuit and show you exactly how to use each piece of equipment properly. Then after your 2 laps around all of the eqipment they show you the stretching bars(which is my favourite part!)I have used to weigh 265 lbs & i am down to 160 :)
The best weight loss program is to be accountable for yourself. Everyone will lose weight by reading and following the right information; as such, being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet! There are many good tips on how to achieve permanent weight loss; none of them includes gimmicks, diets, or diet pills. To assist with weight control; keep a daily food journal and every time the urge to snack is felt, first drink a large glass of clear water. It does not hurt to treat yourself with something special once in a while, what is necessary is that you moderate your food portions. Being overweight ******, but after reading a book, I lost 85 pounds! Words can not express how good I feel! This is a comment which I recently received about the book Lose Weight Using Four Easy Steps
I agree with Todd that once you find something that makes sense to you something just clicks and you can do it. For me personally, I was kinda on the herbal magic program and lost 20 pounds in just a few months without really 'dieting'. My mom had about 50 pounds to shed and she wanted someone to make the changes with so I followed along. If you have a lot of weight to loose, it IS worth the money. You have a personal weight loss coach, and they really help you to understand food and what your body needs, but also to understand yourself and what triggers overeating and other destructive behaviors. The eating plan is otherwise known as 'food exchange', basically you eat a set number of servings from each food group. stupid easy!!!! No calorie counting or worrying about fat, just eat the things that will make your body strong and healthy
P90X !hands down, the hardest workout program ever!!
Finding the right Weight Loss Program http://www.fitclick.com/weight_loss_programcan be really hard. You need to find one that would fit with your daily lifestyle. There are so many different options when it comes to picking a plan. I think the most easy plan is something that allows you to count your calories and log them in a journal. I found this really great website that offers some really useful weight loss tips. I hope it helps you on your weight loss journey. http://www.fitclick.com/weightlosstips
has anobody ever tried losers are winners ?if so, any comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks
My favorite weight loss plan is from a site called www.FitClick.com. The site provides free weight loss programs and tips, workout plans, online calorie counter, etc! This site has allowed me to reach week and week's weight loss goal!
I still agree that http://www.FitClick.com is by far the best online weight loss program!
My favourite program is www.ebodi.comit acts like my own nutritionist and personal trainer.I have been getting great results, and it really motivates me.
I personally just exercise once a week and eat whatever I want...IN MODERATION! I think it's really important not to deny yourself the foods you love - but don't pig out when you do have them and you should be OK. Also, make sure to eat at least one vegetable at every meal!I am 22, 5"8, and weigh 118 lbs and that is what works for me. The people I know who struggle with weight problems don't eat very well (ie: their meal portions are too large and they eat too much sugary or starchy foods - and not enough veggies!). Some of these people are on Weight Watchers though, and I've heard it's the best.
I have been using the LoseIt! app on Iphone/touch its amazing tracks all calories/exercise tracks your goals, interfaces with a website that sends you progress reports and there is also a facebook support page! Best part FREE!!!!! oh and 10lbs lighter!!
i absolutely LOVE the last 10 pounds bootcamp!!!! tommy and nadeen rock!!! yeah! it is so much fun and it motivates me like crazy...when i feel like munching on something, i watch the show...also bulging brides! it is hilarious... Love those shows for what i learn and how i laugh and recognize myself within those women... I personnaly lost the weigh i wanted to loose by seeing a nutritionnist and recently adding a workout. I love training in the gym (wich i never thought i could..but my personnal trainer is soooo cute!)!!Really if someone wants to loose weight, there is effort to put in. Lots of it. But it is so rewarding!Surround yourself with competent people, and stop thinking you can do it alone...oh.And watch The last 10 pounds bootcamp for motivation!!!best
I don't have a particular programme. I just eat healthy, bike to and from work about 4 times a week (approx 88 km in total...with some crazy hills), and run around Stanley Park (10 km) or work out at the gym when I'm not biking. I'm not much of a gym person, so I do most of my work outs outdoors. I also used to box (lots of intervals and total body exercises). I am a bit of a carboholic, though (PB and jam sandwich is my absolute indulgence). But, with the amount of physical activity I do, the weight stays off. I'm 5'2" and fluctuates between 98-101 lbs with about 13-14% body fat.
My best weight loss program has been weight watchers. i have been on it for just over a year and a half and have lost 75Lbs....from that i am also now doing bootcamp...i have been doing that for the last 6 months....Good luck to everyone out there
Nice article. Thanks!I find another good article on Weight Loss Cheers
Sparkpeople.com is truely amazing!
I use Weight Watchers on line. Lost 40 pounds so far. Fits my really busy lifestyle. I know I can eat whatever I want, just in moderation. And, if I eat this, I cant eat that. Also, I do work out at least 4 times a week. Bottom line is there are no shortcuts. You have to work at it everyday. You have to move, you have to watch what you put in your mouth. That simple.
I eat a diet that does not include animal products of any kind, so I guess you could say "vegan". This helps me focus on having a high amount of veggies, whole grains, legumes and nuts and seeds. I have maintained the same weight even with a decreased activity level without feeling I am compromising anything. I haven't had this much energy before and my digestion has never been better.
I'm a meat lover, so the best diet for me is Atkins. I have done atkins twice, after each pregnancy and had great resultsin a short period.
Program as in TV show? That would have to be the Biggest Loser. If you mean the other interpretation than definitely p90x. Tony Horton is a totally beast and I'm a little bit in love with him.
SPARKPEOPLE.COM ROCKSHave lost 15 lbs.
I just started watching X-Weighted, and I love how they put things into perspective regarding not only the weight but also the self esteem and effort.I personally have been using the PlayStation 3 and EA Sports Active 2 for my personal fitness. I would have to stress looking into this for a variety of reasons including1) as per the Jennifer episode, there is a huge difference between the cheats of burning calories and using an overall fitness to build strength, endurance AND LOOSE BODYFAT.2) using this program helps you monitor your heart rate carefully.3) not everyone has the will power to do the work, but thinking of it as a game helps you to achieve because nobody likes to loose a simple game.4) it is a less expensive way then a personal trainer which, less face it, is very expensive.this in no way excludes the need for dedication and commitment, but it could be a tool to help.thanks for the help, you really do help
Weight Watchers works for me the points plus program is the best yet. I have lost 80 lbs and have 20 to go. Exercise is key I walk, do stretching, and toning exercises. Everything in Moderation and don't eat more than you can burn.
Mine is KettleWorx. Ryan Shanahan is great, and it's only 20 minutes à day, 3 days a week. I went from 166lbs to 130lbs in 30 weeks, and I love it.
I really love X-Weighted and feel it is really Canada's version of Biggest Loser.I personally really identify with many people on the show and am truly motivated to get up off the couch and do a body good. I like the way Paul Plaskas tells like it is regarding the food choices etc and I feel each participants pain when they convey their stories, conversely, I also feel their pride and joy when they succeed. Great show keep up the good work and bring us more great shows like that.
WHY ? is there not anymore weight loss shows on this season?

www.Sparkpeople.com has been the single most effective program I've ever been on.
Hi, guys!Has anyone used Curves? If so, did any man--- EVEN MAINTAINANCE---- come in during your workout?I want to know which is better- Curves, or Insanity :)Thanks!
sparkling article loved it.http://www.thinreport.com/sensa.html
I am motivated by many different things but one of those has been watching and learning from the Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp and Bulging Brides. Buying that target outfit and pushing myself for a defined time period, a-la-Tommy-style, seems to get results. And then, I use My Fitness Pal (a free online and mobile application at www.myfitnesspal.com) to journal everything I ate and all the exercise I did (it calculates all the calories you consume/burn), so you're not dieting in the dark! Please bring back Tommy Europe - I miss him!

'I absolutely love the show, The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp, I honestly would probably bulldoze over a crowd of people to get on that show.. the reason being is, I need to loose weight, but can not motivate my self to do it on my own, I like going for walks and stuff but i hate doing it by myself, I think I could really use Tommy Europe\x27s help...if anyone ever sees a casting call for this show please contact me, figby85\x40hotmail.com, thank you'
