Marilisa

Marilisa loves hair. She is the Artistic Director for the Marc Anthony Hair Care company and has been by Marc Anthony’s side since its inception.

From keying fashion shows for the likes of DSquared, Versace, and Izzy Camilleri, to advertising campaigns for top fashion and beauty companies, she is most comfortable with tools in hand. Her advertising clients have included Nike, Samsung, MAC Cosmetics, and Roots. Some of her editorial work has been seen in the pages of FASHION, Flare, and Elle Canada. Her strong history in hair lends itself well to writing about it, as well as being called upon as an expert on television shows. She was also the technical advisor for Superstar Hair Challenge Season 1 and takes an active role in Season 2.

To keep her skills at their sharpest, she has travelled extensively to Los Angeles for the Academy Awards and the Emmys. She has a strong celebrity portfolio, including Fergie, Tilda Swinton, Yoko Ono, and Trent Rezner of Nine Inch Nails.
