John Steinberg

John Steinberg is the consummate hairstylist. In his colourful career, he has left no boundary unchallenged, no horizon unexamined.

Behind the scenes or on centre stage, he has explored every dimension of hairdressing. His creative path has taken him from apprentice training in London, England, to icon status in the Canadian hairstyling industry.

Steinberg's work has appeared in the Canadian magazines Flare, Chatelaine, Toronto Life Fashion, Canadian Art, and City & Country Home. Hairstyling industry magazines Canadian Hairdresser and Salon Magazine have featured his work on countless occasions. His reputation as an educator has kept him in demand as a platform artist at industry tradeshows across North America.

In 1994, Steinberg opened John Steinberg and Associates in Toronto's funky King and Spadina area. The salon provides a comfortable environment to serve clients and doubles as an artistic base for platform and photographic work.
