Synopsis

CARLAWOOD is a documentary series with a twist - think "Curb Your Enthusiasm" meets "My Life on the D-List." 

This eight-episode, half hour series is a lighthearted journey into the land of excess, with hilarious Canadian personality Carla Collins leading the charge. With her affable 'Hollywood-royalty' husband Tyrone Power Jr. by her side, Carla brings the cameras along as she dodges celebrities and pursues her quest for fame in the City of Angels.

Each episode has built in stakes as Carla works hard to build her career, meeting with her agent, upping her acting chops and banging on doors to get in front of Hollywood bigwigs. 

Carla's reinvented herself by buying into the LA lifestyle fully - practicing Kabbalah, visiting psychic colon therapists and generally embracing every wacky trend that promises fulfillment. These elements provide lighthearted moments and true LA context to the series.
