Synopsis

The latest addition to VH1’s Celebreality family puts the proverbial celebrity fish way out of water in The Celebrity Paranormal Project (CPP). In a unique blend of gritty horror with hi-tech investigation, famous actors, musicians, athletes and comedians explore real life hauntings and hunt for ghosts to discover signs of the paranormal.

Each episode features a new team of five celebrity investigators exploring a new ghost story. Gary Busey has “been to the other side” three times before in his life, and now he acts as the emissary to the world beyond for his teammates. Sophisticated Mariel Hemingway breaks down in tears as she walks a catwalk past dozens of jail cells in the search for the warden haunting the prison. David Carradine reveals that he is just as much of a mystic in real life as the characters he plays as he calls out to the ghosts urging them to “move on to the next level.” Gilbert Gottfried brings his brand of craziness to an insane asylum. One of the original Ghostbusters, Ernie Hudson, goes hunting for the real thing ... and actually captures evidence of a ghost on tape! Chris Knight & Adrianne Curry join forces with fellow 70’s child actor Danny Bonaduce (of The Partridge Family) and his wife Gretchen for a special “couples only” episode of CPP.

These celebrities have dealt with the limelight, they’ve dealt with fans, they’ve dealt with photographers and reporters and everything else that goes with fame... but they’ve never dealt with people who have been dead long before they ever became famous. It turns out that when they’re alone in the dark and the ghosts come out, celebrities are just like you and me, they scream their heads off.
