The Mom Show IV

Meet The Host

Catherine Marion

Catherine is a wife and proud mother of four children. She knows how to balance work, children and being a wife like no one you've ever seen…and does it with a sense of humour. Even the addition of twin boys to her crew didn't stop her. Catherine was most recently the co-host of Daytime on Rogers Television in Ottawa and the Fashion Coordinator at Rideau Centre. Prior to raising a family, Catherine was a grade school teacher. Catherine has a great talent for understanding the challenges of being a working mom and can also relate to being a stay-at-home mom which she did for several years. Catherine's honesty about the challenges of raising twin boys, juggling a work load and maintaining a compulsive shoe shopping habit make her the ideal co-host for The Mom Show. If you want frank talk about sex after kids, secrets to hiding those unwanted post pregnancy rolls and real talk about the struggles of being a mom…you won't want to miss a day with Catherine.

Laurie Gelman

The Mom Show welcomes popular television personality Laurie Gelman back to Toronto. Laurie began her career in Toronto as host of YTV Rocks, later renamed Rock n Talk. Laurie then took her talents south of the border co-hosting the groundbreaking daily morning show After Breakfast on Fox Network. After leaving Fox, Laurie then joined ABC's Good Morning America where she spent two years as a correspondent for both the daily and Sunday shows covering everything from The Emmy Awards to Monica Lewinsky. Before joining The Mom Show, Laurie was the pop culture correspondent on The Early Show on CBS. Laurie has also hosted Treasures In Your Home for PAX and Fantasy Open House for HGTV US. Laurie is married to Michael Gelman, Executive Producer of ABC's Live with Regis and Kelly and is the mother of two beautiful little girls. Laurie's ability to talk openly and candidly about herself, AND the trials, tribulations and joys of being a wife, mother and woman make her an exciting addition to The Mom Show
