Andrea Bain

Andrea Bain co-hosts Three Takes with Christine Diakos and Jack Hourigan. She is single, has a passion for life, traveling and is a self admitted news junkie. While she’ll admit that looking for Mr Right has been less than successful she still believes, “there is a lid for every pot.” Andrea graduated from York University with a degree in Sociology and Humber College’s broadcast journalism program before landing her first job at CFTO News as a summer intern. Since then Andrea has interviewed everyone from Martin Scorcese & Al Gore to P Diddy & Jay Z. She's also hosted “Exchanging Vows” and “Dailies” on the Reelzchannel in Los Angeles, California. Hosting isn’t the only thing on Andrea’s roster of accomplishments. Recently she appeared in the Disney movie “Jump In” starring Corbin Bleu from High School Musical and Keke Palmer. In her free time, Andrea loves to salsa, play golf and knit. She says the best part about being single is “never meeting the toilet seat up.”

Christine Diakos

Christine Diakos hosts Three Takes, along with Andrea Bain and Jack Hourigan, airing weekdays at 6pm ET/ 3pm PT beginning March 5 on Slice™.

Christine Diakos is a married mom of two and, like many working moms, she’s a master juggler. While trying to manage her kids’ doctor appointments, parent-teacher conferences, play-dates, and making time for her marriage, she’s also been successfully managing her 17-year career in television. She’s a self proclaimed “city girl” who, in her spare time says, “I enjoy Spin and Pilates classes, watching a good movie, and organizing bitch sessions with my girlfriends!”

After graduating from university, Christine landed her first gig as host and segment producer of Nightlife: a weekly lifestyle and entertainment show. Since then, she has produced as well as reported for national shows E Now, Canada AM, Planet Parent and Inside Travel. Working in quality time with her husband Steve and Isabella (7) and Alexander (3) is the most important part of Christine’s day.

Christine is open, loves dishing the dirt, and telling it like it is (qualities she credits to her Greek upbringing!)

Jack Hourigan

Jack Hourigan, along with Andrea Bain and Christine Diakos, hosts Three Takes, airing weekdays at 6pm ET/ 3pm PT beginning March 5 on Slice™.

Jack Hourigan has been doing the “single mother hustle” for quite some time now. When she’s not writing for and appearing in Second City shows, or hosting various television programs in both the U.S. and Canada, she’s at home with her family. Her son Spencer (10), dog Osgoode (who she considers her “middle child”), and male cat Kathleen (the “baby” of the family) keep her on her toes as mom, mediator, maid, chef, driver, and groomer… whew…

Jack and the “kids” recently moved back to Toronto from the U.S. where she spent nine years hosting for a variety of television networks including national shows How to Boil Water with Chef Tyler Florence on Food Network, and the DIY network design series Ready as She Grows.

Jack’s warmth, charisma, and comedy background combine to make her a “stand-up” host!
