Online Dating and First Impressions Giveaway

As online dating seems to be on the rise, I notice all the options we have when it comes to flirting; Facebook, Twitter, Google chats, texts, and the list goes on. Many women find it easier to be sassy, sexy and confident when it comes to virtual flirting but meeting face-to-face is often very different.

Slice on the Street - Ask a Guy: Dating Dealbreaker

We asked the ladies, now it's time to ask the fellas, what's your dating dealbreaker?

Ask An Expert: Justin, I Like This Guy In My Social Circle! Please Help!

Q: There’s this person I like in my social circle and we’ve become good friends. We see each other every time we all go out for drinks, go camping and other activities. He was with someone before and they’ve broken up about three months ago. I think he likes me too, but I don’t want to jump into any conclusions. Do you have any advice for me on what my next move should be?

Slice on the Street: What's Your Dating Dealbreaker?

Nose picking, bad breath, rudeness, arrogance, nail biting, spitting, etc. – these are just some traits or habits I've heard people are not willing to tolerate or put up with in a relationship. We call them "dating dealbreakers" -- something that is just a "no no" you won't put up with, something that would cause you not to date that person.

Ask An Expert: Justin: We Met And The Lust Is Gone! Please Help!

Q: I am in a long distance relationship and feel that after we met recently, I’m not the right person for him. He still is in constant contact with me everyday, but I feel that the lust is gone. We haven’t slept together but I don’t feel the chemistry on his part. How can I get him to fess up if he feels that I’m a good partner for him? How should I approach this?

Slice on the Street: Your Best or Worst Dating Experience

The experience of going on a date, whether it's your first date with someone new or not, can be exciting and fun. Butterflies, anxiety, nervouseness, excitment, happiness - these are often the things we hope for when dating someone we like or plan on getting to like. Your date can be a success if all goes right...but it can also be a disaster.

Ask an Expert: Justin & Annabelle, the Man I’ve Been Seeing Regularly Has Suddenly Dropped Out of the Picture!

This really special man that I have been seeing regularly for over a year has suddenly dropped out of the picture. He gave me no reason that he was not happy being with me and then just disappeared off the radar? I get occasional emails from him but that’s all! What should I do? How do I learn to let him go?

Ask an Expert: Justin and Annabelle, how do I overcome my dating nerves?

I think I have figured out my dating issue: I get so nervous that I come across as very professional, almost like I’m on a job interview! How can I overcome my nervousness so people see the real me?

Sorry we didn't work out... Would you mind filling out this questionnaire??

Dating can be a funny thing, especially these days where entire industries have sprung up to take adavantage of people trying to find a special someone. I have a few single women in their thirtes and forties and I definitely think dating takes on a new meeting, for me and women once you enter your middle years.
