Q: Hi Brad, I have a 4 month old Westie who is having trouble going on walks. She doesn't seem to be bothered by the leash, however, she does the opposite of pulling on the lead. She will sit or lie down and not want to walk. I have tried a few times to walk with her without allowing her to stop, however, I stopped this after 3 of 4 paws were bleeding. She is improving and no longer shivers when we start out on walks. She walks forward when she meets people and stops when frightened. I am working under the assumption that once she consistently walks forward we can work with the umbilical. I would appreciate any advice!
