What he thinks of your friends
So, it’s time to take the next step in your relationship with your new boyfriend. He’s going to meet your friends. Since you’re introducing him to the most important people in your life, it’s understandable that you’re both nervous. And what about the conversation that takes place after the big night? What’s he thinking? We’re here to tell you.
You: That was fun, right?
Him: Sure.
He means: Not really, but I know it’s important that I meet your friends.
You: What’d you think?
Him: Your friends are great. They seemed so interested in me.
He means: I’m exhausted from the millions of questions your friends asked.
You: So who’d you like? Be honest!
Him: They’re all really cool.
He means: I’m afraid to be honest.
You: What about Mandy? Isn’t she hilarious? With the thing and the joke?
Him: Oh yeah, totally.
He means: Hell, no.
You: Do you think she’s hot? A lot of guys want to hit that.
Him: She’s really pretty.
He means: Either a) Yes, she’s hot, but I don’t want to say or b) I don’t believe that anyone finds her attractive.
You: How about Natasha? She’s something else, huh?
Him: She’s crazy!
He means: She’s crazy.
Him: She hit on me when you went to the bathroom.
You: Oh, she’s funny. She’s always joking around.
You mean: I will kill her.
You: Were you nervous?
Him: Why, did I look nervous?
He means: Yes.
You: Nope, just wondering. You were a little quiet.
Him: Do you think they liked me? I know how important it is.
He means: I hope so, it’s really important.
You: Of course they liked you, you’re awesome.
You mean: I hope so, it’s really important.
